Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. The Palazzo is a spacious, 8,000 square foot reception hall in Botkins, Ohio. The open floor plan allows for all guests to gather in the same room. The large, hardwood dance floor is visible from every guest seat in the facility. The bride and groom will be the center of attention as they are seated at the head table. During the dinner portion of the evening, the bridal party is seated on the dance floor. During our wedding, guests kept telling us "what a great idea to use this for a wedding". We had our first Big Barn Venue wedding in 2018 and we continued to book more dates throughout the wedding season. Our barn does not have heating or air so we cannot accommodate much farther outside of the months of June - October. Our brides, grooms, family and friends that have visited the barn for a wedding have truly enjoyed the country scenery we offer and also the amount of space the wedding has to use for a reception and ceremony. Photographers love the fields and they enjoy using almost all of the 200 acres for beautiful photos and videos.
