About this venue

The Lodge at River Valley Farm opened in the Fall of 2015 and was once a real working farm in the 1940’s for descendants of the Ball (yes, Ball jar!) family. The Lodge has been uniquely restored into a private sanctuary to host your dream wedding. Located in quaint Yorktown, Indiana, The Lodge sits on fifty acres surrounded by farm fields and woods, yet just a few miles from bustling Muncie. The property still houses the beautifully restored farmhouse from the 1850’s with all the modern amenities to fit in to a busy bride’s day of readiness. Located just a mere sidewalk away is the 5,000 square foot masterpiece fully enclosed space, The Lodge.

The Lodge is for the discerning bride who desires an elegant, but relaxed atmosphere.

This space is 5000 square feet of completely climate controlled space, including a 10-foot stone gas powered fireplace, wrap-around windows with amazing natural light, hand-hewn beams from 1850 wrapped in twinkle lights, catering kitchen with lots of counter space, refrigeration, and commercial-grade ice machine, separate bar space, and beautifully appointed indoor restrooms, among many other stunning features! You must visit to appreciate the peacefulness and beauty of The Lodge!

    The Lodge At River Valley Farm was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. From the start, the communication with their staff was efficient, quick and very helpful. Brooke, the person I was in contact with, was always so kind and accommodating. The venue itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect backdrop for our special day. Their staff checked on me multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly, and we truly appreciated their attentive service. We loved the Lodge At River Valley Farm so much and are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding there.

    A lovely venue. Accommodating your every need. You can be indoors or outdoors. You will get all the help you need to plan your wedding or special event. Wonderful setting for your wedding cake with a variety of stands available to use. Great people to work with!!
