The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center is a wedding venue in the heart of downtown Lima, OH. It is the largest, most versatile venue in the region. Wedding packages start at $1,500. Enjoy a seamless wedding day by hosting it all in one place! The Civic Center has multiple spaces to hold a ceremony & reception, an attached parking garage, and a hotel for you and your guests.

Exhibit Hall
The Convention Center's largest space can split into three separate halls and is capable of hosting any event.
The Exhibit Hall is the largest event area at this venue at 13,950 square feet. It has large ceilings and ample room for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment. This event space can be configured in many ways and accommodates up to 944 guests. For slightly smaller gatherings, the Exhibit Hall can be split into three separate event areas with the use of soundproofing wall separators.

The wedding package for One Hall (up to 200) starts at $1,750, for Two Halls (up to 350) starts at $2250, and the Full Hall (up to 500) starts at $2750. Standard starting price is $600.
Atrium
A romantic setting with floor-to-ceiling windows perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hour, photos, and more.
This space consists of all three levels of our performance hall's lobby, with the upper floors opening into the entire space. The Atrium's floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light or seem to light up the night.

City Club
A fully renovated 1885 historic banquet hall for any event in Downtown Lima.
The City Club features original restored stained glass windows and baseboard trim. It is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and lighting fixtures for custom celebrations. This historic hall can host large festivities that feature a dance floor, entertainment, and dining tables. Located on the third floor of the new Center For Business Services, this is a private yet centrally located event space. Dimensions: 37'x76' Max Capacity: 200

Wedding Reception at the Lima Civic Center
The Civic Center was the perfect spot for our wedding reception. They were very easy to work with and the location was great. With an attached hotel, it was perfect for our out of town guests. The pricing was very competitive and we were able to select exactly what we needed to make our special day, perfect. I would recommend anyone getting married in the Lima area to check out the Civic Center for all of their reception needs.
Great venue to work with - a vendor's perspective
Though I'm not a bride/couple that has utilized the Civic Center as a venue, I can offer a different perspective on the space. I'm a videographer, and frequently film at the Lima Civic Center. The team there has always been very professional and treated me with courtesy. They've helped out when needed (like when a counterpart needed a quiet place to deal with a medical issue). They make me feel like I'm part of their team when I'm there. I've seen how they interact with wedding patrons and families, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Civic Center to couples. I also think it's very neat and convenient to have the hotel attached. I've seen weddings in several different spaces within the building, including the main convention hall, the theater, and the lobby with tremendous natural light. In short, as a vendor I've been very pleased with my experiences at the Lima Civic Center. I frequently encourage my friends and family to inquire with the venue about having their wedding celebrations there.
