Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. Founded in 2003, the gated-entry Brandon Estate is a cherished and prized estate of the Brandon Family. An Fierm, which translates to “The Farm” in Irish, was originally a smaller four bedroom house, primarily used as a getaway cabin and romantic escape. Over the years, the Brandons added over 3000 square feet of living space and amenities including a great room, a stone wood-burning fireplace, a wine cellar, a pool, a game room, and a private balcony overlooking the estate.
