The beautifully maintained grounds, annual fall pumpkin display, handmade haybale couches, and fun lawn games like cornhole and croquet made our celebration feel truly special and connected to the natural setting. They also went above and beyond, suggesting easy and beautiful DIY activities like s'mores packs, charcuterie handhelds, and custom water bottles to enhance our "day after" luncheon. Absolutely amazing! Everything went off without a hitch! They took care of everything! The bridal party assistant, Greta was incredible and made sure I got everything I needed.. before I even asked! Denise, helped decorate, made sure everything was in the right place, people were in the correct locations, etc. People are raving about the food still, a month out, and the service was perfect! I couldn’t have chosen a better place to have my wedding!

We loved everything about our wedding here! We worked with Jean and she was so helpful and responsive it made the entire process go very smoothly! Our only complaint was our dinners were not very good compared to how they were at our tasting but things happen and the rest of the wedding was amazing! We did the s’mores station and the French fry bar which more than made up for it in the guests’ eyes and we had a great day! A beautiful space and amazing people to work with!

We chose Philmont for our 11/03/2023 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the venue and the staff (special shout out to Ariel and Jimmy). We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, which thrilled me and my husband to hear. Ariel was who I coordinated with for months, and she deserves all the good praise in the world. She was always helpful and responsive, which is key for a bride-to-be who is juggling the plethora of responsibilities and vendors prior to the big day. She was absolutely a key member of the team to ensure everything with smoothly, and had endless patience for my many questions. I would recommend her to anyone. With the recent construction going on outside the venue, my husband and I were filled with trepidation as that was something that started up a few months before our wedding day, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure that was nothing but a hiccup on the day. We received so much praise for the venue and the outdoor ceremony space, and our guests stated that everything was beautiful. Jimmy was incredible during our Tasting, and helped us pick the perfect menu for our guests. We chose the plated option (Filet, Tuscan Chicken, and Honey-Soy Salmon), and their Honey-Soy Salmon was a massive hit with myself and the guests who ordered it. We also heard endless compliments for the appetizers and stations serviced during cocktail hour. Jimmy was a huge help to us when it came to picking the perfect menu, and was also an excellent Day-Of coordinator. He made sure everything was running smoothly on the wedding day, and helped our rather large party line up and walk for the ceremony. The staff here are truly what made this experience incredible, and it's thanks to them that we had our perfect day.

There are plenty of nearby hotels for ease of out-of-town guests which makes transportation more simple. Most importantly, Becky and her staff are out-of-this-world awesome. The Peacock Inn was the perfect charming venue for our post-wedding brunch. Julie was friendly and professional to coordinate with, responding to emails quickly to help plan the details. We booked out their cozy restaurant space for the morning after our wedding, and it was the perfect, warm setting for guests to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The beautiful flowers out front and inviting interior matched the excellent food and service. Guests raved about what a nice time they had and in particular loved the french toast we ordered. We enthusiastically recommend The Peacock Inn for hosting a post-wedding brunch!

David’s Country Inn exceeded our expectations from beginning to end! After visiting multiple venues, the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its charm and knew it was the perfect choice for us. Opting for a Thursday wedding turned out to be a fantastic decision! On our special day, the staff was exceptional, the food was delicious and served promptly, and the cocktail hour was filled with all our selected dishes, while the bar staff efficiently managed the crowd. They also have a fantastic selection of preferred vendors! Our event coordinator, Kristian, along with Maitre'Ds Brenda and Brandon, were simply outstanding! Their communication, both via email and on the day itself, was seamless. Everything unfolded even better than I had envisioned! I did encounter a decor hiccup with the arch behind my sweetheart table, which my husband had crafted. On the wedding day, I was trying to adjust it when Brenda noticed my struggle. She immediately stepped in, reassured me, and took charge of the situation. Thanks to her, the arch turned out beautifully, just as I had hoped, and I was so relieved! I truly don’t know what I would have done without her help. Choosing DCI for our wedding was the best decision we could have made, and our day was absolutely flawless! We wholeheartedly recommend them!

Bridgewater Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. We had our wedding roomblock at the Bridgewater Marriott and were thrilled with our experience. Their communication was consistently responsive and flexible as we made changes to details in the weeks leading up to the big day. The venue itself is big, new and very comfortable - perfect for accommodating our large guest list. The event staff helped coordinate shuttle changes seamlessly and allowed us to provide our own welcome gifts, which was greatly appreciated. They made themselves available for questions 24/7 and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in our room - such a thoughtful touch! From start to finish, they contributed to making our wedding day special with their attention to detail. We'd highly recommend the Bridgewater Marriott for a roomblock for any couple's big day!

What an amazing venue! From the moment we toured and signed our contract, to the day after our wedding when we picked everything up (that was nearly packed for us), this place was seriously the best! Mollie and Alana were so great to work with the year leading up to our wedding, always available to answer questions and bounce ideas off of. Emily, our DOC, was truly AMAZING! She was so attentive to not only our entire wedding day and party, but to my husband and I. Any time I turned around she was right there ready to do whatever I asked. The ceremony summit terrace and the cocktail hour courtyard are both beautiful and intimate while also providing plenty of space. The food and service was excellent. The wedding staff will truly make any vision come to life for your wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue that truly provided everything we needed and wanted and gave us the perfect wedding! 10/10 highly recommend!!!

They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. Absolutely fell in love with the Morris Arboretum the first time we viewed it as a possible wedding venue in February. There were no beautiful f flowers bloomed and the trees had lost their leaves BUT it was still perfect and stunning. Wow, where do I even start with this review. I am so thankful I was able to have my wedding at Rats Restaurant at Grounds for Sculpture. When you enter Rats you walk into a fairytale-like location. The venue is absolutely beautiful and unlike any wedding venue I have ever seen. The service at Rats is 10/10, every single person working our wedding was wonderful and our guests couldn’t stop telling us how kind all of the workers were. The food and drinks were delicious. Most importantly, the event coordinator, Kathy, will put your wedding planning stress at complete ease. She is so sweet, puts her heart into her work, is easy to contact, and because of this she made our wedding day perfect. Planning a wedding with Rats is guaranteeing a beautiful event for yourself and I couldn’t recommend them more.

Overall, we had a great experience with Evergreene Venue. At first we were a bit skeptical because communication was slow and inconsistent, but as the wedding day got closer, they really stepped up. Nina, the venue coordinator, was absolutely fabulous - she made sure everyone was where they needed to be before, during, and after the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. She also made sure my husband and I got a bite to eat between ceremony and reception, and was even kind enough to help bustle my dress before our reception entrance. Nina truly made our wedding the success that it was. The venue itself was bright, beautiful, and had great views. The service from the venue employees was also wonderful. There were a few small things here and there that could have been better (some of the cocktail food items and reception dinner were a bit cold, and one of the dessert options changed day-of without our knowledge), but other than that, my husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Evergreene Venue. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how wonderful it was. Definitely recommend for your big day!

What is there to say! Five stars is simply not enough! Well for starters we just had our wedding at the Terraview on 10.19.24 and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are simply not enough words to describe this venue and this entire atmosphere as well as planning process. Our coordinator was Barbara and she was fantastic. The entire year leading up to our wedding. There was nothing but amazing communication and help at every turn. They make the planning process for your event or wedding so easy and we were so grateful since we honestly had no idea where to begin. Everything was amazing on the day of and was perfect to beginning to end. There is not a thing that we would have changed about our wedding. From the decorations to the florals to the food, there was no detail left out. If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful wedding or event space, I highly recommend this venue. The details of our day were so intimate and so carefully thought out by the entire team that we had working with us. We worked with the floral department and the bakery and the kitchen to create an amazing day. The transparency is second to none and we are forever grateful. They also have an on-site beauty studio where your hair makeup can get done and they were also fantastic to work with! Gina and her girls are truly talented and made my entire bridal party look stunning. My day of bridal attendant was Belkis and she is absolutely amazing. There was not one thing that we had questions on that she could not handle. She made sure that all the girls were eating. She made sure that I as the bride ate and was hydrated. She made everybody make sure that their dresses were perfect and during the getting ready portion, she was there for us 110% of the time helping with photos. Making sure that every detail on my dress was perfect. There are not enough words for her and I am profoundly grateful. After the ceremony, she insured that we had a drink in our hands and made sure that we were eating during our reception. She made sure that we were eating and brought us water on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor and was just always at our side ready to help us. She is definitely an asset to this venue in so many ways. It is also close to the Scranton airport if you have guest coming from farther away. They have different venues on site (different sizes and styles) and it’s one event per day at each so you aren’t dealing with other parties. It is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony sites are outdoors with gorgeous views and the reception rooms are beautiful. It is a family business and you do truly feel like family while working with them. I cannot say enough great things! It’s close to many hotels so getting blocks wasn’t an issue. You also get some rooms on site. You also get a wedding coordinator and a day or person who is well aware of you needs and wants! Our day was absolutely perfect beginning to end! They make it so easy to plan and stress free! Food was absolutely amazing and my guests have been raving since! I had a cocktail reception which I highly recommend exploring! They have their own full bakery so all desserts were also made by them! We are truly grateful for the entire team at the Stroudsmoor, who made our wedding day unforgettable and a day that our guests will talk about forever. We had our wedding reception at Rivet in October and it was an absolute dream. Harry and his staff went above and beyond what we were imagining. We were able to have a band, a DJ, and a cocktail musician that were all outstanding. Rivet was even able to provide sound and lighting technicians that made sure everything ran smoothly. We had 240 guests with plenty of space and guests, both old and young had the best time. We used catering from J.J. Ratigan Brewery and Three Brothers Grill that provided a unique and excellent dining experience that we’re still hearing compliments on. The venue itself provides such a unique wedding atmosphere and was WAY more affordable than all of the “big name” places in the area. My only complaint is that the night couldn’t last longer! 10/10 experience.

From the first time we toured La Luna, Mark, Karen, and their staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. They were patient and sweet with our parents, grandparents, and other family members, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure we were all on the same page about the vision for our wedding. They were able to accommodate our bicultural family with a bilingual DJ and menu items that were not listed on their menu, and everything at our reception was laid out with care and attention to detail. Our wedding party also stayed at the manor house for our entire wedding weekend, which was so much fun and so perfect!! We would absolutely recommend La Luna to anyone looking for an amazing place to host their special event, that is also reasonably priced and includes so much in their packages. The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!

Appleford was the perfect venue and our day was in a word - surreal. The grounds were breathtaking (as usual), the house impeccable, and our guests were delighted to stroll around the gardens, play games, dance, explore the house, and eat eat EAT!!! Lisa has been immensely helpful since our first meeting and is the fastest email responder- which this bride appreciated! Mary was very kind, enthusiastic and helpful.
