The House Then Designed by Daniel Riggs Huntington, a well respected Seattle architect, this replica of George Washington's beloved Mount Vernon home was built in 1925. Employed as the City of Seattle architect from 1912 until 1921, Huntington also designed the Fremont library branch, the Lake Union Steam Plant, several fire stations and the Washington Street Boat Landing. Nestled in the scenic Cascade Foothills, The Wallace Falls Lodge is a picturesque wedding venue. The Lodge is a good fit if you seek an outdoor space with the flexibility to choose your own caterer and procure your own alcohol, coupled with the relaxation of staying onsite. The Lodge sleeps up to 27 guests and each of its 10 bedrooms has a private bathroom, providing added comfort and privacy. With 2 and 3-night wedding packages your wedding party and immediate family can set-up and tear-down at their leisure. The Lodge grounds can accommodate roughly 115 guests for an outdoor ceremony, as well as seated under our large white outdoor event tent (Spring/Summer/Fall). In 1939 the Works Progress Administration built a timbered A-frame gymnasium of local stone and timbers - the beautiful structure that would later become the Longbranch Clubhouse. When the school district consolidated to a larger site, the Longbranch Improvement Club purchased the land and buildings. In 1956 rest rooms, upgraded kitchen facilities and a wooden floor were added. The Longbranch Clubhouse has held an astonishing variety of activities in its colorful history. High school basketball, wartime bandage rolling, huckleberry festivals, fund-raisers, basket socials, Sunday schools and funerals - along with the popular dances and theater events that formed the foundation of this community's social life for generations.
