Where to even begin! Investing in Katherine to do our wedding photos for our August 2021 wedding was the best decision we made, other than getting married! She had done a friends' wedding so I had started following her on instagram long before my husband and I got engaged. We were planning our wedding back west, and so we started looking at photographers back there but I just couldn't find anyone who measured up to Katherine. Listen--if you want "trendy" photos for instagram with lots of filters, orange skin tones, poses, etc--then Katherine isn't for you. But if you want photos that truly capture your day how it really was, then look no further. I spent years pouring over my parents' and grandparents' wedding albums wanting something that felt that classic and real. And real is exactly what Katherine does. She has this amazing ability to be everywhere and no where all at once. I have been in a lot of weddings, seen a lot of wedding albums, and I have never seen a photographer capture candids as well as she does--the photos feel like screenshots from a movie where we look happy and fabulous all of the time! She truly has a photojournalistic approach. She caught every teary hug, hand squeeze, and glance from across the room. And her ability to make every type of light work to her advantage (harsh mid-day, dark dance floor, etc) is truly incredible. And don't worry--she will also get all of those family photos that your parents want and do it in a painless, seamless way! While we were initially hesitant about the cost of hiring a photographer from NYC to shoot a wedding back west, her prices are MORE than fair for what you are getting! She even did a mini shoot with us the night before to get us comfortable in front of the camera and they are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. Also--she made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable the day of. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her (I mean how could you not be? She shows up in a gucci suit with effortless cool girl energy and is like "let's do this!"), she managed wrangling our very large wedding party with ease and even got my grandma to smile in photos which is a big deal! We woke up the next day to about 15 sneak peak photos from the night before, and had our entire wedding album in 6 weeks! The hardest part is choosing which photos to print! There are just too many that we love. TLDR: Hire this girl, she is smart as a whip, reliable, talented, and a consummate professional!

We recently asked Joyce to be our photographer for our wedding at the San Francisco City Hall and we loved her. She was very friendly and provided great guidance on where to take photos and how to pose. Joyce was gracious and courteous and was always willing to work with any requests that we had, but we didn't have many since we were already happy with the direction that Joyce was giving us. My wedding was in May and the weather surprised us by dumping buckets of rain during the ceremony. Thomas was so helpful with all of his direction and suggestions for the ceremony. He was able to keep his cool and roll with the punches on our very crazy day. Our Photos are absolutely stunning! I honestly can't say enough good things about him. He took so many photos and his editing is wonderful. He also did our engagement photos all the way in Yosemite. He not only drove 3 hours one way for the engagement shoot but also drove an obscene amount of hours for our wedding. He put in so much work and I can't thank him enough.

We planned this wedding from France and they were very helpful with everything that comes with planning an event from abroad. Our guests all raved about having access to the telescopes, and the volunteers made it that much more fascinating by going above and beyond with their explanations of what we were gazing at.

When i started planning my wedding, i wasn’t sure if i wanted to hire a videographer, some my reasonings were “i’m already getting professional photographers, people will take videos on their own” etc. but let me tell you, you NEED to have videos! Jermaine and Edmund are easy to work with! Jermaine will work with your photographer(s) ahead of time about timeline/making sure everything will go smoothly on the day of your wedding. He will keep you updated on the process of video editing. Very professional. Quality of work is really good, watching the videos makes me “re live” my wedding day.

I loved working with Jasmine for my wedding hair and makeup! From start to finish, she was super professional, incredibly responsive, and a clear communicator. Her makeup looks are beautiful and I chose to go with her signature soft glam with curled hair pinned back on one side. She did a fantastic job during the trial and the day of. After the trial, Jasmine was great at asking for my feedback and incorporating it into the final look for my wedding day. She's also mindful of tailoring her approach to your specific needs to help her work last longer. Make sure to tell her about your skin type and any specific concerns, like curls falling out of your hair easily, or oily eyelids for myself which might have affected the longevity of one eye's eyeshadow. Aside from that and a couple other minor touch ups needed throughout the day (grateful for her touch up kit!), the rest of my hair and makeup stayed all night long on my wedding day. I loved my look and thought it was even better than the trial! Even though she isn't a professional hairstylist, Jasmine really nailed it with my hair. It stayed flawless all day and night, despite the dress changes and jewelry adjustments throughout the day and I received multiple compliments on my hair! She's also easy going and nice to talk to - I really enjoyed the time spent chatting with her while getting ready in the morning. It was a great, peaceful way to start the busy day. Jasmine also helped do 2 of my bridesmaid's hair and did a beautiful job. One of them said that she has a really hard time getting curls to hold, but her hairstyle lasted all night long. I'm so grateful for Jasmine's help and would recommend her to any bride looking for a talented and personable HMUA!

Richard was helpful and respectful throughout our entire wedding planning process. He worked flawlessly with me, my partner, and our wedding planner to pull off an incredibly fun reception. Richard did an initial call with my partner to discuss the general vibe we were looking for, and we knew immediately he would be a great fit for our wedding. Richard gave us a helpful questionnaire to fill out key songs and general musical interests (and do not play songs). Richard was also happy to jump on calls with us to talk through our questions and hopes for our big day. I especially appreciated that Richard was able to play some German songs for some guests who had flown in from Germany, as that got even some of our older relatives on the dance floor. People were partying all night thanks to Richard! Richard catered to our wide age range of guests, and even gave us a couple of bonus closing songs that were the perfect conclusion to the night. We could not have asked for a better DJ.

Working with Judy at Found Floral was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning process! I knew I wanted florals that were textured and unique and not too cookie-cutter or traditional, so this was my top criteria when searching for a florist. Judy was able to masterfully bring the vintage backyard dinner party feel to our wedding which had 260 guests and still make our wedding feel unique (each table had different tropical and rarely seen flowers). Over 20 of our guests have mentioned to me since how much they loved the florals at our wedding since then - so many people have complimented our florals and shared that they are their favorite florals they've ever seen at a wedding and are still thinking about them today (some guests even have group texts focused specifically on our wedding florals)! The other big thing Judy did for us was the florals for the mandap (arch) for the ceremony - it was so spectacular and such an incredible focal point! It was raining for our entire ceremony so we were grateful to have a pop of color against the grey backdrop. The Found Floral team also used such unique flowers for the arch and laid them out in a way that was the perfect balance of textured but also refined (without being stiff or overly formal). My favorite part of working with Judy was that she took the time to understand my vision but then was able to operate and make decisions independently to bring that vision to life. There are 10000 things to do during wedding planning and it was such a relief to know we were in good hands with Judy and not having to make tiny decisions like picking out individual flowers or greenery or designing much of anything. I would work with Judy again in a heartbeat - she has such a chic unique style and is warm and makes her clients feel so comfortable at every stage of the process. Found Floral truly is the best florist in the Bay Area!!

Even over video, we felt like old friends. Throughout the wedding preparation process, we met and took photos with Hannah to get to know each other in person. We had a great time hanging out, making jokes, and all the while, getting outstanding "engagement" photos (we had already sent out a save-the-date). Hannah was also an expert at wrangling our pup, who loved to sniff and ignore the camera. Leading up to our wedding, she shared really helpful tools, which assisted us in outlining our wedding day and advising other vendors. Hannah checked in on us and regularly met with us over Zoom to make sure we were all on track. Unlike some of our other prep calls, we really looked forward to our prep sessions with Hannah. The day of our wedding, Hannah went out of her way to make it a success. When our florist insisted on delivering flowers later, Hannah picked up an extra bouquet to photograph with our details. She has an impressive wedding industry history, so she actually knew one of our vendors already and despite meeting the rest of the first time, she seamlessly flowed with all of them. She immediatley went to work with our wedding coordinator, but also adding to the camraderie and fun of "getting ready". She even advised and dealt with our very challenging videographer, who consistently got in her way. I can't imagine having anyone else so intimately involved with our wedding day as Hannah. I was looking forward to 1:1 moments with my husband the most, and Hannah made sure to prioritize those moments for us, capturing every ounce of excitement and bliss. Those moments are my most treasured of the day, and I actually really enjoyed having her there for them, because she is such a special person (and now friend)! She knows exactly how to handle anything thrown at her on wedding day. I can't recommend Hannah enough for your wedding experience. If you're looking for a truly special memory of your day, you will not only come out with hundreds of incredible photos, but you'll leave with a great new friend.

Riggers Loft is situated on the edge of the San Francisco Bay. It is urban chic with high loft ceilings and wooden trusses that invite further decoration. The venue is filled with windows looking out onto the bay with the city skyline directly across the bay. The inside space is 7000 square feet with a footprint that is malleable, and is easily and beautifully delineated by racks of wine barrels. Outside is a 5000 square foot patio overlooking the bay. Many lovely ceremonies have taken place there with sailboats drifting by, and seagulls and sea lions making their entrances as well.

We recently had our outdoor Traditional American Ceremony only on (August 31, 2024) at Riggers Loft, and I can't sing their praises enough! From the breathtaking views to the exceptional service, every detail was impeccable. Special shoutout to Chef Frank, whose culinary talents truly shone through—our guests are still raving about the fantastic food. Since it was a outdoor ceremony only event, we wanted to provide our guests with small bites before the start of the procession. We chose: Asian Salmon Tartar on Wontons,
Paper Cone French Fries,
Petit Spam Musubi, Fried Mac & Cheese Bites with dipping sauce of chef’s choice. We did a tasting on each of these prior and they were DELICIOUS! No adjustments were needed. Also to include that Barbara and Chef Frank wine bottle selection was amazing! We even wanted a white wine sangria option for our guests too on a hot summer day. Chef Frank created the recipe and it was a hit! The venue's atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, combining rustic charm with modern elegance. The staff were attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly, making our special day stress-free and unforgettable. The airstream onsite was a delightful and unique touch, providing a cozy and stylish space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. It added a special charm to the preparations, making those moments even more memorable. If you're looking for a venue that offers outstanding service, a beautiful setting, and amazing food, Riggers Loft is the place to be. Highly recommend! One word: Perfect. As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, I can honestly say I have never felt more at-ease and confident than while working with the Wedgewood Weddings Redwood Canyon team -- they always had our backs, kept us on track, and made us feel taken care of. From the first venue visit, during the planning meetings, all the way until the rehearsal and wedding day, the professionalism, clear communication, planning resources, and organized approach made for a seamless experience. We worked with Allison as our Wedding Planner and Coordinator and I firmly believe that she is one of the main reasons our wedding went as incredibly as it did. Redwood Canyon, provides a planning binder as soon as you sign that includes monthly checklists ahead of the wedding to help keep you organized in between planning meetings. It is also filled with valuable information about the wedding planning process, examples, vendor questions, and general guidelines. It helped us structure the planning process without losing the ability to truly personalize our event. Every meeting we had with the planning team was concise, direct, and organized -- it helped us stay on track throughout the process and gave us the opportunity to discuss ideas and ask for advice (which they are also more than happy to give via email). Super responsive and accommodating -- we were so impressed with how easy the process was. We also partnered with their recommended Bakery, DJ, and Florist as part of our vendor team, and the coordination between venue and vendors was absolutely seamless...by the time the week of the wedding rolled around all the main aspects were locked in and we knew the event was in good hands. The wedding day itself was perfect. Allison served as our Day-Of-Coordinator, and together with Jacoby (co-coordinator), Liv (banquet captain), Liz (banquet captain), and rest of the team (cooks, servers, bartenders) we had the most incredible wedding. We arrived at the agreed-upon time on the day of the wedding, and from that moment onwards, the Redwood Canyon team took over to deliver the best experience. They were organized, calm, kept us well hydrated and fed, and kept everything on track for us all night. We were able to confidently hand off the reins -- we didn't have to think of anything all day other than having a good time and enjoying our day as much as possible, trusting that all the logistics were in good hands. Overall, the venue itself was gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the Arbor Lawn, our Reception in the Grand Ballroom (we initially chose the venue primarily because of the dance floor), and rented out the Rose Room for the Cocktail Hour. Everything was included and beautifully decorated with all our desired personal touches, the food and drinks were delicious, and the planning and coordination services must be some of the best in the business. I can't imagine a more incredible experience than what we had and am so thankful for the Redwood Canyon team's care and professionalism -- especially Allison, who we were fortunate enough to work with from first meeting through the day-of. My daughter and her fiancé chose The Gardens at Heather Farm for their June wedding and it was everything our families could have wished for. The Venue is exceptional. The entire garden was privatized for the event. The ceremony at the Gazebo in the rose garden was picture-perfect. The location is unique and the lovely Gazebo surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of roses in full bloom was the perfect backdrop for their special moment. Cocktail hour was at the patio Pavilion – a large “U” shaped bar with granite countertops and covered by a vine-covered wooden pergola. It sits next to a raised bed garden space filled with flowers which provided a pleasant place for our guests to mingle and enjoy the beautiful flowers while enjoying their cocktails. Dinner was indoors in the Camellia Room. This room is stunning. Huge glass windows around the room provide views out to the garden and the lovely lake. The neutral colors in the room were perfect for our summer wildflower color theme. There is a large deck that runs around the outside of the space which was perfect for an outdoor bar, photo booth, and our audio guest book (phone). The Gardens provided an amazing array of beautiful places for photography and spaces for our guests to stroll and enjoy the views. The indoor space was lovely, clean, and bright. Lots of space for seating, a DJ, a cake table, a Sweetheart Table, and dancing. Jenna was delightful to work with. She was helpful and responsive during the entire process. We would choose this venue again in a heartbeat.

TLDR: Fleurisse Design (Willbe) not only beautifully brought our floral vision to life, adding the most important visual touch to our wedding, but was extremely easy to work with when it came to her quick & clear communication, accommodation to our budget & vision, and was both personable & professional. We first found Willbe through Instagram. We were immediately in love with her overall style and aesthetic that is both modern and whimsical. Bonus points that some of the gorgeous arrangements she makes are with blooms from her very own garden. We reached out to her and several other florists. After our initial correspondences and meeting, we ultimately decided to go with Willbe for several reasons (and we felt really good about that decision!): (1) Communication: From the get-go, Willbe was very responsive and has good communication systems in place. We submitted a form via her website, we corresponded over email, and we were able to set up a virtual meeting to chat. (2) Value: Willbe's prices were middle of the road (we got some lower and much higher quotes), and we felt that the product and services she was offering in exchange for the quality and design were well worth it. Additionally, she was willing to work with our budget and desire to have our guests be able to take home the beautiful arrangements! (3) Design: Of course her work is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful!!! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out-of-state from a different time zone, but despite that, Willbe stayed in touch throughout the process, so we were never in the dark. She walked through our floral inspiration pictures with and translated that into what would be executable on her end. In the days leading up to and on the day of, her and her team's professionalism, from asking about the venue layout, arriving well in advance, having everything ready to go, working with the outdoor ceremony elements - wind!, was very reassuring. On the wedding day, the flowers did not disappoint. The bouquets, boutonnieres, floral arch, and various centerpieces were each a piece of art. I'm so glad our photographer captured them, because they were absolutely amazing. When Willbe did the bouquet hand-off to me on the day of, it felt like my Pinterest board come to life (iykyk!). All the floral pieces invoked spring, soft pastel vibes that were airy, delicate, and breathtaking. She nailed the color palette and vibe perfectly. Some of the flowers (sweet peas) came from her own garden as well. The sweetheart table felt like we were sitting in a garden. We would definitely recommend Fleurisse Design to anyone looking for a wedding florist that excels in both creating beautiful floral pieces. He seamlessly blended into the background can captured moments without ever feeling intrusive. Not sure how he did it but he managed to capture intimate moments while remaining virtually unnoticed, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves. Everything was beautifully captured. He gave us something so valuable. Something you really can't put a price on!

I've enjoyed mochi donuts from other businesses but someone told me I had to try Mochata and I'm glad I took their word for it. Best mochi donuts hands down that I've had in a long time! I reached out to Erik to inquire about catering mini mochi donuts for my wedding in March 2024 and his customer service was on a whole other level. He was so personable and friendly that I just wanted to order just because of that (go small businesses go!). I asked if he had samples to try and he gladly made a batch and I ended up ordering 5 dozen mini donuts. Everyone at my wedding LOVED them. So much that I didn't even get to have any myself during reception! What stands out the most about Mochata's donuts is that the flavor is actually IN the donut itself. Not just the icing that we're all used to. And the texture? Exactly the way a mochi should taste. Flavors? ON POINT!! The toppings are very generous, especially the Cookies N Cream and Mint Oreo. My absolute favorites are Coconut Pandan, Ube and Strawberries N Cream and my husband always goes for the Mint Oreo. Now that it's post-wedding, I've been having cravings so I ordered more just for my family and I to enjoy. I haven't tried all the flavors yet but I have no doubt that they all taste delicious. I also recently got myself a Thai Horchata drink. I never thought about combining the two flavors together and it was super good! Now I feel like I need to try every flavor of that as well. Thank you Erik for being able to make my wedding day even more special! Definitely plan to be a regular customer for whenever I have a craving.
