Hi! I'm Anna the founder and senior photographer of Hey Honey Photography. I am a Texas-born, California girl at heart. I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have a team of talented wedding photographers with a passion for capturing your life’s biggest moments and all your candid in betweens. Choosing a wedding photographer is more than just hiring someone with a camera to document your day. My background in psychology and creative project management ultimately led me to a desire to help you be camera-confident and be freed up to enjoy every moment of your big day. 4.5 months after our big day, we are still ooo-ing and ahh-ing at the magic Anna captured on our wedding day! She's not only an incredibly talented artist, but the most thoughtful, caring friend who brought all the positive vibes. I love that she includes an engagement session in her wedding package- by the time the wedding came, we felt comfortable with Anna and trusted she would capture all the special moments of our wedding day. And capture them, she did! Before the wedding, she scouted out all the picturesque locations, giving us the most beautiful back drops I didn't even know our venue had! Lastly, she created a special sneak-peek of photos for my husband's auntie who last minute could not attend. So thoughtful! Her assistant, Linda also brought such positive energy and made us immediately feel like friends. Thank you so much, Anna!! We'll cherish our wedding photos for a lifetime thanks to you!

Amazing Anna!
I found Hey Honey on Instagram via a friend of a friend. I was immediately drawn to the photo's natural/polished look and the genuine enjoyment on the couple's faces. After phone interviews with about 5-6 photographers I was immediately at ease with Anna. She was incredibly prepared for our conversation, asked thoughtful/thorough questions, and seemed genuinely excited at the opportunity to work with us. It was an easy yes after that call! The engagement session was more fun than we could have imagined. She gave great direction and was really playful. It was a great experience to warm us up for the big day. Anna offered to join my mom, florist and I at a venue walkthrough. I was really blown away that she went above and beyond to do that. The day of was a little tricky because we were working around rain but she was prepared and gave great direction. She brought a second photographer and they did a great job together, it made a world of difference. Overall you will find that Anna's warmth feels like a friend and with her organization and confidence you know you're with a pro. She made the whole experience feel unique and special even though she does this regularly. I would definitely choose her again!

Anna was fantastic - very well coordinated in all of the logistics leading up to our engagment shoot and wedding. Provided great direction in terms of posing, and preplanned a lot of great locations. The photos themselves were amazing and we really appreciated the early sneak peak polaroids as well.
