    Our search frankly wasn’t difficult - it began and ended with Courtland! When we first started thinking about photographers, we were looking for someone personal, for someone who could capture the beauty in the little moments, and someone that could take our breath away with one picture. There was not a more important decision to us than selecting a photographer! Finding Courtland Photography was a needle in a haystack of photographers in the area; HOWEVER, Courtland’s stunning, award-winning photographs paired along with his genuine personality made this the easiest decision for our wedding. As my husband is also an Army veteran like Courtland, they bonded over their time while we drank wine prior to our engagement photos. Courtland spent more time than I expected getting to know us before taking our pictures - he wanted to ensure that he KNEW us, not just how we met, where we live, what we do. After that, it was a breeze to work with him. Our engagement photos were filled with many laughs, touching moments, and jaw-dropping pictures. Fast forward to a year later for our wedding day and Courtland was, again, nothing but amazing to work with. We’ve already received our sneak peeks (just 5 days after the wedding day) and we’re in AWE!! He captured the little moments of our nieces dancing in rain puddles all the way through the end of the evening being surrounded by our family and friends on the dance floor. Truly, easiest and BEST decision we made!

    Courtland was my dream photographer but with him being in California and we were in Colorado I didn't think I'd be able to afford him. But after no luck with local photographers I called Courtland and that was the best decision. Courtland was available every step of the way. From our first zoom call to him arriving in Colorado for our big day. He reached out throughout the planning process keeping things on a great timeline to getting certain aspects complete. He took the time to get to know us as a couple in great detail and asked questions no other photographer had asked. Our pictures turned out Amazing and we got so many compliments and people were amazed with the final product. Courtland helped ease my mind on the big day he showed up and was checking in with me he even got me food and drinks while I was in make up. Courtland captured us as a couple as well as our family and friends. He captured every emotion down to the tears of joy on our secret dance.

    Courtland is one of the best wedding photographers out there. When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we had a few other photographer plans fall through and we couldn't be happier that we were referred to Courtland. From the very beginning Courtland was constantly learning more about us as people to get a better idea of what we wanted in our wedding photos. During our wedding, he made us feel comfortable and helped us throughout the process (as a hobbyist photographer myself, I feel very uncomfortable being on the other side of the camera) with getting us in the perfect position and lighting to create some amazing photos. He had us fill out information about ourselves and when we had our wedding photo reveal, he got us gifts from the questionnaire he had us fill out earlier, which made it feel all the more personal to us. We are very happy to be his "Clients for Life" and we highly recommend Courtland to anyone.
