2 Penguins is not your typical wedding location. We are a Taproom and Restaurant providing quality food, service and beverages. We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

“We had the most wonderful wedding here on 9/10! It was the perfect blend of a few classic traditions and a laid back space that all of our guests raved about. Dan was great to work with from the start, and helped day-of to make sure our event ran smoothly. He and all the awesome staff nailed the small details and great service. We chose one of the cocktail style menus and the food was delicious, plus all of the Colorado beers and spirits were a hit with guests. If you're looking for a versatile and really reasonably priced venue, I would highly recommend choosing 2 Penguins.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night. Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision. We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!”
