Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Our charming and picturesque venue is the perfect location to create unforgettable moments, be it a wedding, anniversary celebration, or any other special occasion. When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Dismantled and purchased in 1907; the remaining materials were moved to its current home. Today, it has a capacity of 120 guests and can comfortably host both intimate and extravagant celebrations.

The warm and inviting clubhouse provides panoramic views from the highest point in Harford County. Our climate controlled tented ballroom has the same incredible views. As does the adjacent lawn for your ceremony and cocktail hour. We have to private rooms inside the clubhouse for smaller events.

The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. Mill Creek Falls Retreat LLC began as Camp Donegal. A church camp owned by the Donegal Presbytery. They sold it to Alex and Amy Kauffman who sold it to the Lancaster Conservancy who subdivided it, took the woodland and preserved it for future generations to enjoy and sold off 32 acres and the Campground to Ronnie & Kelly Miller who own it today.
