Born and raised in the mountains of Virginia, I found myself drawn towards nature and its raw and intricate beauty. As a child I always had a big imagination. Because of this, photography came naturally to me as a way to tell stories and share my journeys. Inspired by the values of the Romantic Era, creating moody imagery that evokes emotion is what I do best. I have always had an eye for detail and enjoy every moment of documenting & preserving your memories through photography.

Matthew started solo in 2019, hobby shooting and taking on the occasional paid photoshoot, as his skills developed so did his workload. The work just kept coming. As the transition from hobbyist to professional photographer stuck. He can be found hiking in Vermont’s beautiful rolling Green Mountains, working in his Montpelier studio, or traveling far and wide in search of inspiration and stories to tell.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!
