The Orgo family is warm and welcoming. They shared their slice of heaven with our approximate 150 loved ones! Their team is caring and compassionate. The detail’s throughout our stay were beautifully planned. Jerica - our coordinator was exactly what we needed. She took charge, calmed our nerves and didn’t let us down. The wedding was exquisite. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, homey, chic and remarkably clean. We absolutely loved our wedding and would do it again in the same place in a heart beat. Any issues that came up during our timeline - Bear Mountain Staff managed with a smile. Thank you for hosting our wonderful and unforgettable event! BMI will always have our hearts!

The Barn was originally built in the year 1830 in Oxford, Maine, and used to be a dairy farm and apple orchard owned by the Pratt family. In 2015, it was transformed into an idyllic wedding & special event venue. The 1830 Wedding Barn is a classic, New England gem set back off of Route 26, surrounded by Maine farmland. Inside of the barn you will see impressive hand hewn beams, original wooden floors and walls, and repurposed original antiques like the hanging apple orchard ladders, hay-claw chandelier, and the Hebron Academy milk cooler. The barn’s historic quality creates a unique experience for guests to celebrate any event. Outside of the barn you will see rolling hills, fields stretching to the edge of the woods, trees from the original apple orchard (which we still bake pies from!), and sunsets fading to the western side of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy and explore the outside areas of the existing apple orchard and surrounding grounds.

We had our wedding at the 1830 Wedding Barn in September 2023. During the planning process the ownership of the barn changed hands, but we ultimately had a good experience with the new owners, Molly and Brian. They were kind, professional and helpful. The barn has an outdoor ceremony site under an apple tree as well as accommodations to have an indoor ceremony as well. We ended up having an indoor ceremony due to weather and utilized the venue's arbor (flowers not included). The inside of the barn is rustic and felt quite cozy in the evening with Edison bulb string lights twinkling. There are two newly updated restrooms attached to the barn and a live-edge wooden bar that adds to the rustic barn feel. Overall, we had a special day we will never forget at the 1830 Wedding Barn.

I’m so happy we chose the Loon Lodge Inn to host our wedding. The food was spectacular, the tent was beautiful, and the lake views were amazing. But the real stars of the show were the hospitality and service from Kim and other staff members at the Loon Lodge. They went above and beyond the entire weekend. Everyone at our wedding sung the praises of the staff including their hard work, friendly demeanors, and their creativity to fix things when unexpected things happened. For example, when the florist’s arbor fell over and broke, the florist attempted to hold it together using ribbons and flowers that looked awful. Kim immediately fixed it using fishing line and it ended up looking beautiful as the fishing line wasn’t even noticeable and especially won’t be seen in pictures. Kim also tried extremely hard to have the ceremony outside despite forecasts of rain. Having the ceremony outside was the one thing I really wanted to happen that weekend. Kim was constantly checking the forecast that day and saw that there would be a window of opportunity without rain and at the last minute made an outside ceremony happen. Additionally, I didn’t realize that we never assigned someone to be in charge of the cake-cutting. Kim saw it was not being cut and went out of her way to cut everyone a slice of cake. There were many moments like this and I’m sure way more that happened behind the scenes that we weren’t privy to. The bartenders and other staff members, especially the chef, also did a fantastic job. Choosing the Loon Lodge Inn for our venue was the best decision I made regarding wedding planning. My now husband and I plan to return here for an anniversary trip one day. Thanks to the Loon Lodge Inn and Kim for a weekend that we will always remember and think fondly of!

We had our wedding at The Red Barn this past May and everything was beyond perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Alex was so on top of everything during the planning stages and throughout the wedding itself. She is so incredible and we feel so lucky to have worked with her! The entire staff at The Red Barn was so amazing as well. The space is stunning and the food and drinks were incredible. We truly cannot say enough good things about The Red Barn! We had our reception and ceremony indoors and the fireplace backdrop was absolutely perfect. The space itself is beautiful and we really didn’t feel that we needed to do a ton of decorating which lessened stress and saved us on decor costs. However, all we really had to do was drop off what decorations we did have and Alex and her team took care of set up and breakdown with our vendors. We really didn’t have a single worry the weekend of the wedding. The amazing staff at The Red Barn took care of it all. We also stayed at Stage House Inn the weekend of the wedding and got ready there. Darien was a pleasure to work with and made coordinating room blocks so easy! The bridal suite comfortably fit all the girls getting ready (12 total people) plus 4 hair and makeup girls. It was also the perfect room for getting ready photos! We held our rehearsal lunch at The Links restaurant and the staff was so accommodating! We had a last minute reservation for around 25 and they took us no problem. Excellent and affordable food and drinks! Overall we had a perfect experience with every aspect of The Red Barn. We absolutely would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect spot for their wedding!

I am not even sure where to begin with Granite Rose. Disclaimer, me and my (now) husband live in FL but our families live up north so we were looking at venues up north that would be as accommodating as possible given the long distance. We had an initial facetime "tour" and booked GR sight unseen because we loved what we saw (virtually.) The entire sales team/coordinators was phenomenal to work with from day one. They answered all of our questions, were able to make adjustments accordingly when requested, and were very responsive. The fact that they are an "all inclusive" venue made wedding planning 100x easier! We did not have to outsource any vendors except hair/makeup and our photographer. Flash forward to our big day on 10/12/23-we had Victoria as our day of coordinator. She has always been a love since we have had a few meetings with her prior. She checked in on us often, was very organized and respectful, and is a ray of sunshine. Janet was our banquet captain and was also great. She made sure my husband and I didn't lift a finger and allowed for nothing to go wrong all night. Her team Holly, Julia, Ashley, and Abby were all great too! Kudos to chefs Jim and Joe for our amazing food also. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We did the "elite" package with a few subtractions and it was worth every penny. I would recommend Granite Rose to ANYONE who is looking to get married in New England. 10/10!! :)

Complete with nine guest rooms, we can accommodate up to 22 guests to stay the night. We also offer bar service, ample parking for up to 250 guests, a full breakfast for Inn guests, as well as rehearsal dinner space under our covered porch with heating if necessary, post wedding brunches, welcome cocktail party space, an on site baker, use of our day of coordinator, in house massages, private yoga on the lawn for the morning of your big day, as well as our fire pit, various lawn games, and so much more!

We recently held my sister's bridal shower at the Greenwood Manor Inn- and I cannot even begin to explain how incredible our experience was. Jill and her family are a magical bunch. They were some of the most genuine and kind souls that bring extra charm to the beautiful landscape of the inn. I began discussing the event with Jill a few months ago. From our first conversation, she won me over as the winner of our event space. The menu, space, and overall price were exactly what we were envisioning for the bridal shower. She was beyond excited and accommodating in planning the event alongside us. The day before the shower, we were able to drop off all of the supplies and explore the inn. The morning of the shower, the tables were all set up, and Jill took the time to making our simple plates into gorgeous place settings. For the shower, we enjoyed a brunch with a mimosa bar. Every single menu item was beyond delicious from the cowboy quiche (insanely delicious) to the apple pie french toast (to die for) to the fresh salad (refreshing and sweet). All 30 of our guests raved about the dishes and treats provided by Jill. My personal favorites were these tiny apple crumble bars and the freshest blueberry scones I've ever had. We were also able to bring in our own ice cream bar as our shower theme was "She's Been Scooped Up". Beyond the scrumptious pastries and spread, we had a picture perfect April day with clear skies, lots of sunshine, and warmth. The garden view from the patio was the perfect backdrop for the festivities. As each guest said their goodbyes, they complimented the enchanting atmosphere of every aspect of the inn. I would give a 10 star review if possible! I could not recommend this location more if I tried. Be sure to check out this charming getaway spot or event space. You will NOT regret it!!!

With a wedding of a little over 100 people, we got pretty much unanimous feedback that our wedding at Bayside was one of the most fun that anyone had ever attended. In truth, this is largely due to the care and ease with which Micaela managed everything! We had an absolutely stress-free wedding and felt so well-taken care of throughout the event and in the run up. I cannot say enough about this incredible venue. From the beautiful property, to the attentive and friendly staff, Newagen made our entire wedding weekend smooth and seamless. Newagen offers all the charm of a small quaint Maine Inn with the delivery and professionalism of a large well run venue. Maura was amazing and responsive with the booking of the venue and sales process. She was so responsive in answering all my questions and helping us navigate putting the weekend structure together. The reins were smoothly handed over to Tiffany as the weekend got closer and she ensured everything ran smoothly through the weekend. We held a lobster bake Friday evening, ceremony and reception Saturday and a farewell breakfast Sunday morning. Every single aspect was flawless. Tiffany and her team kept things running on time, making sure everything I brought (decorations and the like) was put out so that my husband and I could just spend time with friends and family. It felt that every time I had a concern or a question, I could ask Tiffany and she'd have already thought of it/handled it. I truly cannot say enough about how amazing the staff was. From the front desk staff, managers, coordinators to the waiters, everyone made us and our guests feel at home, taken care of and special. My husband and I will definitely be returning to celebrate anniversaries and will recommend this venue to anyone. The property has so much to offer guests (pool, pickle ball, sunset path) and is not far from the cute downtown harbor and local sites like the coastal Maine botanical gardens. The chef was fantastic and the food was delicious. Highly recommend going to their pub for a bite if you are in the area and are considering this venue.

We are so happy we chose The 1812 Farm for our special day and would heartily and readily suggest it to anyone looking for a venue. I literally cannot sing their praises enough for how perfect they helped make our day. The 1812 Farm was the perfect venue for our July 2024 Wedding and we could not be happier with the experience we had working with Sarah, Olivia, and the larger team. The 1812's team is not only super responsive, but extremely helpful as a sounding board. Any questions we had were answered promptly, any ideas we wanted to float were approached thoughtfully, and this team truly lessened any kind of wedding planning stress. As for the venue itself, it was gorgeous. The flowers were in bloom in the garden where we had our ceremony and the inner venue where we had our reception was so well put together. The 1812 team set all my decorations up for me after I provided an example of what I was going for and that immediately lessened any day-of stress that morning. Both my husband's half of the party and my own had plenty of space to get ready separately in the Bristol Suite on site too, which was perfect. Having prep in the same place as ceremony and reception just streamlined our entire day. I also love that even when the lights were dimmed inside later in the night for dancing, there was still plenty of light to see and talk by and our guests adored the outdoor bar and thought it was super cute. The 1812 also uses Stone Cove Catering and we loved the ease of building out the menu with the same people we already were in contact with for the venue. It made everything so smooth and we knew there would be no confusion or fuss as meals were served because the caterers are the venue and know the routine and space. Once the party actually started after dinner, I had multiple guests come up to me to rave about how good dinner and cocktail hour apps were- literally so good that multiple people made comments about it right after eating. Can't ask for better than that. And my husband and I were beyond happy with our own meal and the post-ceremony oyster treat that Stone Cove Catering helped us plan for ourselves. If I were planning this wedding all over, I'd still pick the 1812!

Foster’s Clambakes and Catering is an event venue and full-service catering company located in York Harbor, Maine. Foster’s is famous for its clambakes, lobster, Maine cuisine and personal service. They offer indoor and outdoor receptions, rehearsal dinners and ceremonies at their venue. They are also partnered with several seacoast event venues and cater throughout New England. Foster’s main function space which can host 75-300 guests, is a rustic space with stone fireplaces, surrounded by windows with access to outdoor cocktail space lit by bistro lighting with a fire pit. There is a grassy outdoor ceremony or reception space that can hold ceremonies of all sizes or tented events for up to 400 guests. It sits beside a picturesque pond and includes large wooden ceremony arbor and bench seating. For more intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners the York Room can host 30-70 guests and has a modern barn style with opening to outdoor cocktail space with bistro lighting and fire pit.

There is not enough space in this review to explain just how AMAZING Fosters and its staff are. We got married here on 10/30/20 and it was absolutely perfect thanks to Garrison and Beth! Back in August we had to change our original wedding plans of getting married in PR, because we did not want our guests getting on a plane due to COVID. I called multiple venues in York and the surrounding area to see what our backup options were. I originally spoke with Beth and she could not have been nicer or more helpful! She answered all of my questions and put a hold on our date before we even came to visit. From the start they were just so friendly, easygoing, and accommodating. Once we saw the venue we knew immediately that it was perfect for us. Its cozy, charming, clean, and so spacious! Both inside and outside. We mainly worked with Garrison throughout the planning process and she was INCREDIBLE! I genuinely never felt stressed even with all of the unknowns going on in the world because I knew that she would find a way to make our day perfect! and she did! Flash forward to the day before our wedding. We were supposed to have our ceremony at the beach up the road but snow was on the forecast. Garrison and Beth didn't miss a beat!!! They gave us a ton of options and were so easy going and flexible. We wound up doing our ceremony in the York Room and it was beautiful. Our wedding day went seamlessly! We helped decorate the room the day before which was amazing. When we showed up everything looked perfect and they had a fire going inside and outside. Beth and Garrison made sure our ceremony went smoothly and that us and our guests had everything we needed throughout the night. THE FOOD. OMG. Our guests are still RAVING about how delicious the grilled lobster bake was! and the crab cakes! and the homemade onion dip! and the blueberry crumb cake!!! Everyone said that I wouldn't eat at my wedding but they were SO wrong! I had everything and can personally vouch for how delicious it was. Thank you Garrison and Beth for making our day so perfect!!!! I don't know why anyone would get married anywhere else!

It is one week ago today that we experienced the most magical vow renewal event at the Chebeague Island Inn! This would have never happened if it wasn't for Caitlyn, Glen, Matt, and Jess at the Inn. Every detail, every morsel of food, to the timing and atmosphere was simply superb!! The rooms are beautifully quaint and cozy. The views were magnificent. And, ohhhh the sunset!!! The precision in all the details was key because it was a surprise kept for a very long time. I can not express in words how grateful we are. Our weekend could not have been more perfect! We are still talking about it and how your staff made us feel like family. They really went above and beyond my expectations!! And did I mention the views!!??

We cannot speak highly enough about the Atkinson Country Club! The coordinators and other staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The venue if beautiful in any season and the food is really good. We got married 4/27/24 and were extremely lucky with the weather. We got married on the patio outside and used the Fairview room for our reception. My only con with the venue/ outdoor ceremony is the chairs. There is nothing wrong with them, they just aren’t aesthetically pleasing. There are multiple reception halls at this venue and they can accommodate more than one wedding at a time. The bridal suite is very big and has adorable vintage decor. There are so many perks like center pieces, a night stay, golf vouchers, and much more. We decided to book during the “winter season” and got an amazing deal! Again cannot recommend enough!

Both ceremonies and receptions can be held at The Wentworth with indoor and outdoor options available. Ceremonies can be held on our River Front Lawn, next to Wildcat River creating picturesque Jackson’s Falls. Receptions are taking place on the Alpine Terrace and our brand-new White Mountain Pavilion with a capacity for 200 attendees. This recently updated and upscaled tranquil venue also offers options for rehearsal dinners and welcome receptions, allowing couples to turn their wedding into a weekend-long event. The Wentworth offers future newlyweds serenity and a historical ambience that creates a romantic wedding setting.

We absolutely LOVED the Wentworth. We received so many compliments from our guests on how amazing both the wedding and their stay was at the inn. All the staff was extremely kind and accommodating throughout the wedding planning process and the wedding weekend. Cita, the wedding coordinator at the inn, was so easy to work with and truly cared about helping us create the day of our dreams. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and very professional. Corey, the day of coordinator, was fantastic and did a phenomenal job coordinating day of events. Her and her team set up the tent and cocktail hour space us and it looked beautiful. It was very important to us to be able to have all of our guests stay on sight and having a wedding weekend. The Wentworth went above and beyond all of our expectations. Not to mention every single meal that Chef Brian prepared was incredible! We cannot recommend the Wentworth enough and are so excited to go back every year for anniversary trips!
