About this venue
Apple Acres Farm is a certified organic fruit farm located just 45 minutes west of Portland, Maine, in the western Lakes & Mountains region. Your ceremony and reception will be nestled in the trees, overlooking the Saco River Valley. Our venue offers a wide variety of packages with a starting cost of $5,000 + rentals (tent, chairs, tables etc). We can offer wedding coordination, custom lighting installs, cider cocktails, a rehearsal dinner space in our Treehouse Room, and more! We pride ourselves on our personalized service--we are primarily a farm, and so each wedding that we book is a commitment we take on to you and your family, working with you to realize your perfect day.

No we do not have a barn! At our venue you rent a tent that is nestled right in amongst the apple trees! We do have indoor restrooms, and a restaurant space for your rehearsal dinner or small wedding/elopement (less than 50 attendees) that is indoors!
Peak season is August/September, but we do not charge peak prices! You will get the same price regardless of when your wedding is, so you don't have to worry-you can just pick the date!
Fewer weddings are booked in June and July. But we do not have different pricing for peak/off peak, so you can book when you want to and not worry about it!
Yes, you can BYO, we just require additional liability insurance.
Yes, we have self park available for all rental packages.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.
The starting fee of $5,000 includes: grounds, indoor restrooms, parking, commercial kitchen, and twenty farmhouse tables (seat 6-8) that were made from our own wood. In addition, couples will need to rent at minimum a tent and chairs, and most likely will also rent dinnerware, glassware, a dance floor, and lighting. These costs are dependent on what you choose to rent and the number of guests, and typically cost $25-$45 per person.
You are able to access our grounds for 72 hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for setup, the day of, and cleanup. We only book one wedding per weekend! Your caterer may store ingredients in our walk-in overnight, and will have shared access to the commercial kitchen all day. Please note that during the fall we are open for apple picking from 8am-5pm, and wedding start time must be 4pm or later.
Our deposit of $2,000 is nonrefundable. Additional payments are refundable.
We are 45 minutes from the Portland Maine jetport, a straight shot on route 25.
Our venue is fully insured. We always recommend buying an additional personal liability insurance policy for yourselves, and require it for BYO alcohol.

Yes, there are many hotels in the area, and we have a special relationship with an 1820s bed and breakfast just ten minutes away, where we can provide room blocking, special breakfast packages, and more!
