The dining room opens onto a deck with views of Second Roach Pond - perfect for cocktail our. Guests can also enjoy a co-ed wood-fired sauna, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, and a separate downstairs meeting space ideal for small-group slideshows or pre-wedding activities. Medawisla’s Main Lodge offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities.

    AMC Medawisla Lodge & Cabins was an amazing place for our small, intimate wedding. All the guests were very comfortable and well fed in the accommodations provided. The venue's spectacular natural beauty was the perfect backdrop for our special day. Aiden and his team were incredibly reliable and accommodating, making themselves available to us and all our guests. They worked tirelessly to ensure everything came together seamlessly, demonstrating true professionalism throughout. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day so memorable.

    We had our wedding at AMC Medawisla in September 2023 and would highly recommend the venue after touring countless others in Maine! John, Charlene and the rest of the AMC staff allowed us to highly customize the weekend by cooking some of our favorite foods, adding additional signage so that our guests wouldn't get lost, and overall making the weekend as smooth as possible. Our guests enjoyed the star gazing! We appreciated that all our guests could stay onsite and some of cabins included bathrooms and showers for those that wanted a less rustic experience. We were nervous about black flies but ultimately it wasn't an issue at all even at dusk. Even though we had gorgeous weather, the dinning room in the Lodge is a fantastic back up rain option.
