Words cannot describe this magical venue- you have to see it to believe it! It's literally breathtaking. The staff were amazing from the early communication to my day of event manager (the two ladies helped me A LOT!). Amanda was someone who I worked with on my multiple visits and she is an absolute gem! The staff helped make my vision a reality and even a month later, people are still raving about our wedding. The venue is so gorgeous (think double deck cabin style) that it needs minimalist decor (they even have a rental room you can use for the decor) because the scenery is more than enough for pictures. The layout of your event is very up to you with multiple options for where you would want the ceremony to be held. I loved using the patio for the ceremony (gorgeous trees as the backdrop), then held the reception inside (main level with bar deck), and had the dancing back out on the patio (the staff cleared the space but left chairs and benches along the outer rim). The nearby fire pit was perfect for a s'mores station and the side of the building has a nice grassy lawn where guests also enjoyed corn hole. The bridal suite is of good size with a full bathroom and a private deck (my ladies and I enjoyed our morning to the fullest), and then there are two other smaller suites (we did groom suite and the other room was to co-mingle). The staff let me plan multiple week day visits prior to my official planning meeting so that I could get measurements for things, scope out the layout and really get my vision put together on my time. My family and friends all loved staying in the treehouses (what a cool experience itself!). The bar is included with the venue (AMAZING packages with more options included in each than I have seen anywhere else- even with the basic package) so I just had to focus on the decor and the food (catering and desserts). You do only get the venue the day-of unless you luck out and pay for early set-up the day prior (I got lucky with my Saturday wedding and was able to come in Friday to decorate but they are normally booked with Friday weddings). Lots of parking made it convenient for guests. I included multiple photos (credit to Travis Lontoc) to help give an idea of the space and how we used it.

The Kingsville Lodge was such a wonderful, intimate ceremony space. It feels almost secluded- it’s romantic and woodsy and will make for such a beautiful ceremony spot for your wedding day. I highly recommend this if you’re not having lots of guests and want something a little more lowkey but still very pretty!

Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. For a more remote and primitive experience, there are secluded cabins complete with bathrooms and a pavilion with cooking grills sinks and fire pits amidst beautiful hiking and horseback riding trails.

I don't even know if I can explain enough how wonderful everything was about our experience with Sugar Lake Lodge. Nadine and Steve were fantastic to work with. Steve was our officiant and Nadine was was our planner and they both get 5/5 stars. Of all the searching we did for a venue and to think we ALMOST went with a different one. I found Sugar Lake Lodge and at the last minute before booking I decided to just see it for the heck of it. All we had to do was pull in the drive before we got to the Lodge for our meeting and we KNEW this was the place for us. We had a personal hiccup and postponed our wedding and Steve was sooo understanding and even offered services if we needed anything. Steve was our Officiant and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Our ceremony was a little different but he was terrific. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money to have a wedding coordinator but I'm so glad I did. Nadine was fabulous and had suggestions that were perfect. At one point close to the wedding day I was having an issue with the person that was to do my flowers and Nadine was ready to dig in and see if she could help. Heidi was on top of everything the day of and was very attentive. She even made sure that my Husbands elderly father didn't need anything throughout the day. She set everything up and was perfect. We had gotten LOTS of compliments from how beautiful the venue was to how Heidi was made everything run smoothly. We wanted to get married by the big tree at the lake but the weather wasn't cooperating. Steve made sure that when there was a break in the weather he got us out to get the pictures we were hoping to get outside. I didn't catch her name but the bartender was absolutely amazing as well. I cannot say enough about this venue. If you have ANY doubts, forget them. This place was more than what I wanted to spend but it was so worth it. Book your wedding with Sugar Lake Lodge!

In brief, we cannot recommend Meadow Ridge highly enough--the venue is beautiful and unique, but more than that, working with Seneca and her team is a pure joy! They are organized, thoughtful, responsive, and caring. They make you feel like family from the first time you meet and the investment in the success of your wedding day is incredible. Lastly, I was nervous planning a multicultural event with integration of Indian and American wedding traditions in rural Ohio and all our requests and details pertaining to Indian cultural aspects were beautifully integrated into the wedding day! It is clear that hosting excellent and memorable weddings is a proud commitment for the Meadow Ridge team, not just a job they have. Venue: large, beautiful outdoor venue with a covered pavilion. To quote our friend, "I've been to a lot of barn weddings, yours was not a farm wedding, it was a fairytale." The flowers were stunning, the grass was lush, the pond lined with reeds and tall grassed, the sunset was out of a painting. There is a new patio in the larger pavilion which we used as our dance floor, so our guests danced the night away under the stars. The photography team Suzuran has stunning pictures of Meadow Ridge across several seasons! Communication/Planning: Seamless communication with the team, Seneca was always easy to reach and responsive, answering our infinity questions meticulously and graciously adjusting her plans when we had to change ours. Service: So thoughtful and caring, we and our guests were blown away! For instance, the bartenders kept track of what drinks we had as the bride and the groom and came to find us with refills. One of the servers brought over tissues when my parents and I started crying before walking down the aisle. As we mentioned, the integration of elements of Indian culture was phenomenal--Seneca was receptive from our first conversation and worked hard to make our hopes a reality. Having our wedding at Meadow Ridge was an absolute privilege and the success of the day is fully reflective of the incredible team we got to work with--we are just so grateful!

The team at The Kelly Ballroom were outstanding for our January 2023 wedding. Jamie, Jeremy, and their staff made sure all our needs were met both leading up to and during our big day. They were extremely accommodating, easy to work with, and flexible to our requests. The wait/bar staff all served with a smile and we even had our own personal servers to help us carry plates back to the sweetheart table. The food was not your typical catered wedding food, offering a good variety with great taste. Very fairly priced venue and services. Overall 10/10 would recommend it for your next event. I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

The Place At 534 was the most perfect and magical place for our wedding day. From the very beginning, the communication with the owners and staff was incredibly efficient and amazing. They organized the entire day seamlessly, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. The quality of their work and attention to detail was truly special - the venue was beautiful, and they made our wedding day feel truly perfect and unforgettable. Even four months after our wedding, I miss every second of that day and would relive it 100 times over. The owners and staff at The Place At 534 are truly amazing, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tropical Paradise in Geauga County! I kept telling my husband when we were looking into venues, "I want somewhere close to the water that's peaceful and I want it to feel like paradise, but I want to get married not too far from home". Most of our family is from the area, so we wanted somewhere that we didn't have to travel super far either. I had been looking for DAYS and everything was either way too far, way too expensive, ehhh, or just not at all what I was thinking. My husband hopped on Google, and said "Hey, how about this place called Shangri-La?" I looked at the pictures and I was like "Where is this place?!" He said "5 minutes from us". I could NOT believe it! It was GORGEOUS! The pictures are amazing but don't do it justice. I immediately reached out to Pam and Rod who own Shangri-La with interest. They said we could come and look at it that day if we wanted! My husband and I went and fell in LOVE! So so beautiful, and they have clearly spared no expense on making it so elegant, beautiful, convenient, affordable, and just magical. They were so amazing to work with. I knew when we parked and walked down the walkway even only seeing a small area of the location that was it. That was the place we were meant to be married at. Pam and Rod were so unbelievably amazing to work with. So caring, so organized, so attentive. They even offered us to set off fireworks at the end of our wedding (we got married on the 4th of July). It was truly the best day of our lives. I didn't worry about a thing, everything went smoothly, and they were just so great to work with! I will absolutely be returning to Shangri-La in the future as they can accommodate you for any kind of gathering you have in mind! They even went the extra mile; I was in a very bad car accident about 2 weeks after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon. I was in the hospital for a days and had broken my neck and had surgery on my knee that left me re-teaching myself to walk. Somehow, Pam and Rod had found out that I was in a car accident, and they stopped over at our house with the sweetest care package and card. It truly made me cry. They are such sweet and wonderful people. And we had such an amazing visit. Pam and Rod are just such unbelievably genuine people. You just feel like you're "home" when you're at Shangri-La. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La and Pam and Rod <3

Me and my, now husband, absolutely loved Patterson's before we even chose it for our venue. Once we were engaged, there was no other place for us to have our wedding! Working with Livia was one of the best experiences. She took care of us, answered all questions we had throughout the whole process, and was extremely accommodating to our needs. Livia and the rest of the staff were extremely passionate about what they do which made the day feel even more special. I seriously felt so blessed being able to work with them all! I would 1000% recommend Orchard Farms as a venue not only as it's a beautiful event site, but because Livia and her team are some of the best people to work with. first off, I want to say the team at Sun Valley is amazing. They were always so fast to answer all of my questions (and trust me I had plenty). They are kind, fun, and passionate about what they do. The grounds are beautiful. Every single person I encountered through Sun Valley was so kind, making sure everything was perfect and seeing if there was absolutely anything we needed/if there was anything they could do to make the whole experience better. Once it all came together, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful venue. The ponds are stunning and being able to have the ceremony there was absolutely amazing. The inside is so spacious and even with everyone in the building, it never felt crowded or “full”, but it also didn’t look empty. The tile wall behind where the head table goes is stunning. It comes out so well in pictures. Some of the decor didn’t go with our style and they were totally okay with us putting anything that didn’t go in the storage room for the night. I received so many compliments on how it is the most beautiful venue they’ve ever seen. Things I’d like to mention is: there are bed and breakfasts kind of close by, but only hold ?60 people. The closest hotel is a Marriott and it’s 20 minutes away and they only have 1 shuttle that holds 11 people. There isn’t great service out there so Ubers weren’t super easy to get so we rented shuttles. All worked out totally fine, but just something to keep in mind. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with Sun Valley: the look of the ceremony/cocktail hour and reception, the people (literally everyone that works there: AMAZING), the catering options (we chose A Taste of Excellence which we also HIGHLY recommend because wow), the whole experience. I am so beyond thrilled and couldn’t imagine my day anywhere else. I am so thankful for everyone there and had so much fun with them, they were some of my favorite people there. but seriously, I am so happy with my choice of Sun Valley and highly highly recommend!!!! Thank you Sun Valley for making our day so special
