About this venue

32 West Eighth is housed in one of the most architecturally distinguished buildings in Erie. Original woodwork, plaster-relief ceilings, and marble-blocked corridors provide a truly unique venue for your special day. The Grand Ballroom opens up to two-story tall columns which draw your eye to the festive plaster relief ceiling. Front is the stage where you can dine with a view of the festivities. The Ballroom's floor is a suspended hardwood that allows you to dance the night away! While larger than the Grand Ballroom, Arcadia gives a more intimate feel with a lower ceiling and stone columns with flickering "candles". The Peacock Fountain and Fireplace add a quaint, old-world charm to the space and is perfect for themed events. The Lodge Room is perfect for wedding ceremonies – its spacious floor and stately columns add an air of elegance to your wedding… and with your entrance down the staircase your guests and partner left in awe!

The Grand Ballroom

Our most elegant reception venue!

The Grand Ballroom has two-story high plaster relief ceilings located in the heart of the building. It features a hardwood suspended dance floor and elevated stage. The Ballroom also has an accompanying foyer for receiving guests, and Fireside Room for buffet or additional activities.

Arcadia Hall

Perfect for themed events!

Arcadia Hall is located in the lower level of the building. While larger than the Grand Ballroom, Arcadia gives a more intimate feel with a lower ceiling and stone columns with flickering "candles". The Peacock Fountain and Fireplace add a quaint, old-world charm to the space and is perfect for themed events. A truly unique experience in Erie.

The Lodge Room

The Lodge Room is perfect for wedding ceremonies.

With its spacious floor, stately columns and plaster-relief coffered ceiling, The Lodge Room adds an air of elegance to your wedding…and with you making your entrance down the staircase from the loft, leaving your guests and partner in awe! The Lodge Room includes access the day before for rehearsal and decorating, and dressing rooms prior to the ceremony to dress. Ceremony Rehearsal coordinated with your officiant and our events team is also included.
