Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. For a more remote and primitive experience, there are secluded cabins complete with bathrooms and a pavilion with cooking grills sinks and fire pits amidst beautiful hiking and horseback riding trails.

“We were one of the first couples to book at Tall Oaks. We took a chance when at the time the venue was just a construction site. So happy we took that leap of faith. As a new venue, of course there were hurdles throughout our journey but the destination far exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was perfect and the venue is stunning beautiful, Taylor and Sarah were wonderful and the entire service staff not only did their job well but made the night FUN. I can only imagine how incredible it will be for couples once the carriage house is complete, lovers lane, etc. Tall Oaks offers so many great additional amenities. I would call it a “one stop shop” for venue, on site accommodations, beautiful scenery for pictures, etc. If I could do it over again, I would definitely book with Tall Oaks again.”
