About this venue

1020 Collective is a multi-faceted art and event space located in downtown Erie, PA. We aim to elevate our community through exhibiting their works, their words, and offering space to express themselves. We hope to build on Erie’s rich community and history, while maintaining our mission of supporting living artists and creatives. We have two rental spaces, our upstairs gallery for more intimate settings like showers and smaller weddings and the downstairs event space for larger gatherings like receptions and elaborate ceremonies.

Upstairs Gallery

Our Upstairs Gallery is a large open day-lit exhibition space with high ceilings, & brick walls perfect for more intimate gatherings & ceremonies.

Our upstairs gallery's large windows flood the space with beautiful natural light and highlight our exposed brick walls and art exhibits. The gallery room is a unique setting perfect for more intimate gatherings such as showers, brunches, rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, and smaller ceremonies and receptions. This area can accommodate 100 seated banquet style and 200 standing. There is one bathroom off the gallery for use.

Downstairs Event Space

Our Downstairs Gallery is a multi-purpose event space with gallery walls, cafe, Prohibition-era repurposed bar, a performance space with stage, 2 bathrooms, and an outside patio. This space can seat 200 for presentations, 150 for banquets with tables, 150 for cocktail hour, and 400 for performances.

Description

This is our basic rental package. It is a four hour rental of our space either in the upstairs gallery or downstairs event space. Additional time can be added at $100/hour. This is a great option for smaller scaled showers, cocktail parties, engagement parties, and dinners.

Description

This is a six hour, half day rental for either the Upstairs Gallery or downstairs event space. If you would like to use both spaces, this would be an additional cost. This half day rental allows for more setup and breakdown time than our basic package.

Our multi-day rental package is a 2-4 day rental of our entire space, upstairs gallery and downstairs event space. This package is designed for larger more elaborate events to allow set up time a day or two before your event as well as a day to cleanup afterwards. We can customize a rental package that best fits your needs.
