I’m a photographer and filmmaker who wears many hats, but being a wedding professional is one of my favorites. I believe that art is political, and it’s a form of resistance to share real love stories loudly with the world. My approach to weddings, business, art and life is unapologetically radical, feminist, and intersectional, and my favorite people to work with are all of these things too!

No two weddings are alike, which makes each one new and exciting to photograph. The key to providing couples with images they love is getting to know them before wedding day, asking questions, sharing ideas and planning the timeline of the day. I am creative at heart. A hustle hard and give 100% for you, kinda girl. My second shooter? That would be my husband Marc who has been voted (by me) most likely to make anyone laugh until they cry. It’s no big surprise that witty banter is what drew Marc and I together, and I couldn’t ask for a better husband. (Plus, he’s pretty hot so there’s that.) Patricia Burmicky is based in New York City. She specializes in portrait and event photography. She graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. She has been commissioned by world renowned organizations such as the New York City Ballet and fashion brands like Max Mara, L Brands, and Burberry. Nathaniel Johnston has had the pleasure of capturing beautiful images of scores of weddings.
