Based in the Northern New Jersey area and embracing the East Coast and beyond, The Fox & The Hare want to document your love story! Each of us have backgrounds in fine art photography and have been photographing weddings together for over a decade. And whether we’re there for the happy moments or the emotional moments, we want to document it all.

Jen is the “Hare” because she might be small, but she is quick and tries to be everywhere at once. Steve is the “Fox” because he is stealthy with his photojournalistic style, you hardly know he’s there. We don't just sign up for a job to be your photographers, we want to walk away and feel like we've become old friends.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Jen and Steve. From the very beginning, they made us feel so comfortable and understood, which meant everything to us on such an emotional, fast-paced day. They were incredibly professional while also being so down-to-earth, and the entire experience felt smooth, effortless, and genuinely fun. They went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect, even making sure we stayed hydrated throughout the night with electrolyte packets, which shows how thoughtfully they looked out for us. It was such a joy seeing them sing along to songs with us and fully share in the energy of the night. What really blew us away were our preview photos. It's amazing how talented they are in capturing all the perfect moments throughout the day. Thank you for documenting our day so beautifully.

Jen & Steve are simply the best. They’re a husband and wife duo whose energy really shines through in their work. I’m a ham, but my husband is a bit camera-shy, and they made each of us feel comfortable and collaborative and like we were the only people in the world that day. They were willing to be silly with me and to coax my husband out of his shell and get his personality to come through. They were incredibly easy to get in touch with and in the pre-wedding video chats we had with them, we found ourselves going over our time by just chatting and really enjoying spending time together. This was the most important aspect in our decision to have them photograph our wedding. We knew that because they made us feel so comfortable, that would shine through in the photos and we were right. They left our wedding at 10PM on September 4 and by 6PM on September 5 we had 130 preview photos that I can’t stop staring at. They were with us for 10 hours and spent every minute of it making sure the best day ever was captured forever. We will absolutely be using them for any professional photos we might want in the future.

Booking The Fox & The Hare was by far one of the best decisions we made wedding planning! From the start, they were so organized and left no stone unturned in making sure we had the perfect vibe for our wedding and we got all the shots we wanted. They took the time to get to know us and there was no stiffness or awkwardness at all despite the fact that neither my husband nor myself are used to taking lots of photos. Everything felt so organic and fun and beautifully captured our relationship. We did an engagement shoot first which was so much fun and gave us a wonderful sneak peak what to expect on our wedding day. We couldn't recommend them more!!

From our first call with F&H we have never doubted for a moment that we were making the right decision. Jen and Steve are true professionals, they are informative, focused and phenomenal at what they do. Their creativity and eye truly wowed us, always catching the light and making every backdrop look absolutely magical. They were able to give gentle guidance to ensure that we looked our best in such important photos. They were able to put us at such ease, to the point where we forgot they were there and we got to just enjoy our moment together. Our photos turned out amazing and we had such variety to choose from. Best of all, they provided us with a day of schedule that really helped us set expectations. Making sure all staged photos were done prior to ceremony, allowed us time to really breathe and soak in the day! We appreciate everything they did to make our day perfect and they truly captured the love and happiness of the day! Highly recommend!!
