Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! The best decision I made when planning our wedding was hiring Menaza, AKA ‘Superwoman’!!! My husband and I are an international couple that were looking to get married in New York and therefore needed to hire someone to assist us. Menaza’s resume and brochure was impressive! But when I spoke to her personally, we hit it off right away and hiring her was a no brainer! She was the calm I needed for my Type C/A personality! Menaza wore a million hats to help us pull off the wedding of our dreams! She handled all of the vendor bookings, contracts, logistics, and organizing of timelines. She even provided bonus services of putting together all of our florals! She created our bouquets, boutonnieres, table centre pieces and provided all the little details, like our card box, table seating mirror, welcome sign and offered to create and print our stationary. She brainstormed with us on concepts, helped us create a wedding & bar logo and accompanied us to venue visits, during our several visits to New York. Even when I had issues ordering items online, she stepped up and ordered them on my behalf! She advised on the tipping culture of the US, assisted with our marriage licence & officiant application and was open and honest about what sort of costs we should expect for certain items. Menaza researched and secured some amazing vendors for us and ensured that on our wedding day we were taken care of! (IE, I expressed to her that I really wanted sushi during cocktail hour... and while I was taking family photos she showed up with two plates stacked full of sushi with a BIG SMILE on her face! Lol) I was SOOOOO HAPPY!! One thing that stood out about Menaza over other planners we interviewed was that she was always available, we weren’t limited to a number of phone calls & contact times. I messaged her with every thought I had and within a reasonable amount of time she responded. We are still getting rave reviews on how amazing our wedding was and it would not have been possible without her. We had many family members and guests that were asking to meet her as they were so impressed!! Menaza went above and beyond to be there for us, even as she celebrated her own life’s blessings, we are forever grateful for her! HIRE HER! You won’t regret it!

Words can't describe how thankful I am to have had Jess and Jackie on my wedding day!!! Our day wouldn't have nearly gone as smoothly without them. They truly embraced the day and put all their energy into knowing inside and out our timeline, every detail, our vendors and our bridal party. I (the bride) was able to go about my entire day without having to worry about a single thing because they were taking the lead and handling it all. With a big bridal party and family, they ensured our most important people were where they needed to be and that we got all the photo shots that I had specified on my extensive list. All my expectations for the day that I had talked with them the months prior to our wedding were met and exceeded. There were only a few small bumps to the day and they immediately diffused the situation and quickly resolved it, all while being so kind and professional. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. I had such a positive experience working with the Dhalia team for my private estate wedding. Both Melissa and Deliece were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. I worked closely with Melissa the entire time; she was incredibly thorough and genuinely cared about every detail. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. I literally didn't have to handle a single thing on my wedding day because she was there to handle it all. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. Teyanna and Essence of Flair was truly an answer to prayer. I had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding day and she executed it perfectly. From our first meeting, she listened attentively and made sure she understood the assignment. Teyanna never tried to push her own agenda, what I wanted was always top priority. She was patient and also provided insight that helped me not only in the decor of my venue but in other areas of my wedding. Teyana was absolutely amazing. My wedding ceremony and reception were perfectly decorated and they exceeded my expectations. When I walked into the ceremony and reception area I said this is what I wanted. WOW! I can not say enough on how appreciative I am of Bari and Antonia. A month before my wedding I realized I desperately needed Day of Coordinators. Bari and Antonia were so responsive and assuring. They took on my wedding with such grace. No request of mine was too much. They travelled all the way to Jersey City from Philly and were so accomodating. They spent time with all our vendors on the day of the wedding, helping set up with the florist and some of my DIY decor. They made sure my ceremony procession ran smoothly. They made sure all the little details were taken care of. The night of my wedding, the only thought I had was to have a good time, and thats because Bari and Antonia did the rest. I couldn't recommend them more if you need help on your wedding day.

A day-of-coordinator is one of the last wedding vendors I considered, and working with Cindy made me wish I booked her right after getting engaged! Every step of the process working with Cindy demonstrated her professionalism, skill, and kindness. From our first consultation call, she immediately put me at ease and shared her own experience with weddings similar to ours. Throughout the planning process, she was highly accessible starting from the time we booked with her, striking the best balance of offering her perspective while encouraging us to make the decision that was best for us. She also offered invaluable insight such as recommending an excellent videographer who we were very happy with. Despite her busy schedule during peak wedding season, she always ensured that I, my now husband, and parents felt heard and received her full attention. The night before my wedding, a vendor reached out with a timing concern that would have led me to panic had it not been for Cindy, who solved the issue without my having to give it a second thought, leading to the ceremony entrance that my husband and I dreamed of. The day of my wedding, Cindy and Caroline immediately brought a sense of calm and joy when my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, and were on top of little wrinkles that arose in the plan, such as when a transportation vendor didn’t show up. I hadn’t realized that there would be so many wedding items to keep track of (vendor gratuities, favors, signs, toasting flutes, etc etc etc), but Cindy and Caroline ensured that all these things were set up correctly at the venue, and packed up at the end of the night. Overall, it is hard to imagine how the day would have gone without them. They were unquestionably an essential part of how we were able to enjoy some calm and lots of fun during our wedding day, and we are so grateful to them!

Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there.
