I am Becca Byrd, owner and founder of Love Byrd events. I started Love Byrd after 10+ years of personal and professional event planning. I have spent the last decade in New Haven working as an event planner for a large university as well as serving on governing boards of a variety of local non-profits. I have worked on conferences, fundraisers, concerts, parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate meetings, weddings and much more. I have loved crafting a vision while simultaneously working on all of the tiny details to make that happen.

My goal is to work with you on what YOU want and need for your special day. I am honest, thoughtful and a true partner in your planning journey. I will design a working relationship that best meets you needs and as I take on a smaller number of clients each year, I have the time to focus my attention on your special day.

Here at Love Byrd we aim to meet your needs for your special event. If none of the standard packages suit what you are looking for, please reach out and I can design a custom model just for you!

I rely on you to provide the vision and then I work on all of the elements you need to have your ideal day. The idea here is that I take on the booking of most if not all of your vendors. Fees are charged as a flat rate covering a deposit and day of coordination plus a percentage of what I help you book.

This model combines a flat fee, percentage of what I help you book and hourly day of coordination. This is more suited for a couple that wants to be more involved in the process and take on some DIY projects.

A standard day or coordination package includes pre-event meetings as day of assistance. The pre-event meetings can be as simple or as involved as you would like. Some prefer to meet once or twice to just walk me through the details whereas others want to meet more regularly in the weeks or months leading up to and want more support putting together a plan for the day of. This package is billed by the hour.
