“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.”

“When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we were initially hesitant to book Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. since they were not a local company, and we didn't get to talk directly to the photographer or videographer until the day of the wedding. That being said, what sold us was their website/gallery, their professionalism when getting a quote, and that our venue vouched for them. OLAS' team's communication was responsive, quick, and thorough, putting us at ease. We had planning calls and surveys leading up the day of. Jasmine T did a stellar job setting us up to look our best, and she had her work cut out for her, because she was dealing with two brides, two dresses, and an outfit change! Jasmine was also great about following our instructions from the survey and planning meetings. For example, we had included pictures in front of a wall of donuts at the venue, but we later changed the wall of donuts to cannoli's and forgot to tell OLAS. Turns out the venue threw in the donut wall back in without telling us. Jasmine brought us to the wall, and it made for a great surprise and cute pictures. Jeremy did an amazing job on the videography and editing. Watching the highlight video made us cry because he really captured our best moments and those real smiles in the midst of the stress and hustle and bustle of the wedding day. OLAS gave us complimentary rush photos and video without us asking which was a 2-3 week was turn around. Despite our initial trepidation, we are so happy we booked OLAS. They went above and beyond to make our special day memorable for a lifetime. “PictureMeThisByLacie was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Lacie was amazing to work with the entire time. She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on our photo timelines, not to mention all of our photos turned about AMAZING. Our package included an engagement session and Lacie worked out a weekend she was already in Chicago to accommodate us. Leading up to our session, we had issues with controlled fires and protests in our preferred location, but Lacie found us a spot that blew my expectations for photos out of the water. She gave us a sneak peak and also got our pictures back to us super quick. On our big day, Lacie and Tim(her husband/second photographer) were the best to work with. They made us feel comfortable and captured our day better than we could have imagined. As soon as they got there, they got straight to work. Lacie got all the details and getting ready photos that I will cherish forever. Things were running behind the day of and they let us add on an hour to our contract the day of and pay at a later date. This ensured that we got dance floor photos and it was so worth it! Specifically getting pictures of my husband's grandmother in her 80s dancing with all her grandkids. We received a sneak peak very quickly and our whole (massive) gallery less than 2 months after the wedding. For as many photos as we got, this was a crazy quick turn around. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours.
