Hello! I am Wendy, an award winning Chicago wedding photographer. I personally, will be the photographer on your wedding day, I am a one woman small business. My photo journey started 12 years ago shooting concerts, most recently Depeche Mode! I fell in love with the art of photography and started capturing weddings! I love seeing all the details you so lovingly design into your wedding day and capturing the big picture of how awesome you, your wedding and guests are.

My style is clean, colorful, vivid and alive! I am an indoor lighting expert, half of your wedding will be inside, this is important. You can expect your photos to have a mix of photo-journalistic and candid with traditional detailed and posed shots blended in. I am flexible and easy going and love working with fun-loving couples who are madly in love! Yes! I will help you with all your photos and LOVE being the photo director on your wedding day. Some of my favorite things are genuine smiles, love, nature, being silly, the sound of string instruments, coffee from Sparrow, yoga, and vintage shopping!

Wendy was the sweetest photographer ever!! She was so kind right from the beginning. We had an engagement session with her and my husband and I were awkward and she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. As for the wedding she met all our expectations she made sure we covered all my ideas I sent her. The pictures came out so beautiful and made me cry all over again. I would book her again and again. Wendy is the BEST!!!! I don't even know where to begin to express how thrilled we are with our wedding photos and our entire experience with Wendy! She takes the time to make sure she knows exactly what you want and goes above and beyond to achieve that. Our photos turned out even more amazing than we could have ever imagined! Our guests were so impressed with her and kept telling us how awesome she was too! Everyone also keeps telling us how beautiful our pictures are! Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Booking the same year as your wedding is also okay but I may have limited dates available.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also include retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening on closes up photos and portraits.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I do have several videographers I work with and can provide contact info!

You are provided a wedding photo preview the week after your wedding! My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 11 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my trusted colleagues.
