Hello there! My name is Alana. I am a wedding photographer based in the Chicagoland area who ranges from lovely backyard weddings in the suburbs, to swanky celebrations in the city, to flying off to stunning elopements around the world. Weddings with me include tons of laughter, lots of support in planning and organizing, and photos so vivid that your memories jump out of the frame. (It may also include us both happy crying together on the big day) I make the whole process as easy and fun as possible, and would be absolutely honored to take on the role of turning your memories into artwork!
In the times of light and airy, I offer highly dynamic photos full of life and rich color. Your gallery includes tons of meaningful candids throughout the entire day, attentive shots of even the smallest details, and some show-stopping editorial portraits of you and your partner. I’m no saleswoman, but I am someone who deeply cares about the people who graciously allow me into one of the most intimate and monumental moments of their lifetime. Best photographer ever!
Alana was fantastic to work with! She is super easy to communicate with and was very understanding when my husband’s work schedule made taking our engagement photos a challenge. Skip forward half a year and our wedding pictures are absolutely amazing! She edits with such a vivid and lively style that is not typical of wedding photographers and we could not be happier with how they came out. She also delivered early which was completely unnecessary but much appreciated!

There are not enough words to describe how lucky we were to have chosen Alana to capture our wedding day. Alana is one of the kindest and gracious wedding vendors and people you will come across. Her priority in your needs, requests, and comfortability made shooting with her feel effortless and fun. Alana was so quick to respond to all of our questions and her professionalism, passion, and overall care made an otherwise jam-packed day feel structured and special. We were so in love with our pictures and Alana's package includes so many beautiful moments that we got to relive and even experience witnessing for the first time. Absolutely Excellent All Around!
We had the half-day wedding shoot with Alana for our wedding of 60 people and she was so fabulous! From our engagement photos to the photos on our wedding day, I was impressed throughout the whole experience! Not only was she creative and talented with her photos, she was very kind and so easy to work with! She was very detail oriented and considerate of our families, friends and what we liked / wanted for the day! The photos make me smile every time I look back on them and just turned out so beautifully. I would 20/10 recommend Alana if you are looking for a great photographer!
