The Still Life Photography
Jay & Nicole Vega decided to pursue a career together in the art of Photography. Met & married in Chicago in 2013, two people set out on a business venture of a lifetime. While Nicole is the main photographer of the company, we have also expanded and hired reliable, talented photographers to work along side with us, while still maintaining a small business feel.
We feel we are more affordable than most other photographers in the Chicagoland area and can provide high end quality service. Our photos have an artistic style all while helping you enjoy your wedding day and not taking TOO much time spent on photos.

Nicole and Isabelle are AMAZING!
Oh my gosh I really don't know where to start. Nicole and Isabelle are just so amazing! I was extremely overwhelmed when researching photographers for our big day - after all, our pictures will be our memories from our most important day. We were also getting married in the fall at an outdoor vendor and I wanted to make sure that I found someone who could capture the beauty of the setting but also all of the memories being made that day. Nicole delivered. Our pictures are so so beautiful. Our family and friends can't stop talking about and ordering prints of them, either. Beyond capturing our day in the most perfect way, Nicole was also the best at helping to plan the day. I was a bride on a budget and didn't have a wedding coordinator or day-of planner but Nicole helped me to create a timeline for the entire day and was there to answer pretty much any question that I had. Nicole and Isabelle are also so chill and laid back! They made me and my husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Nicole puts her whole heart into everything she does and you can tell how much she cares about her clients and how passionate she is.
Beautiful photos and easy to work with
So happy with our decision hire The Still Life! Nicole and the rest of the team were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Isabel did our engagement photos and shot our wedding. We had never taken professional photos before and weren’t sure how it would go but she immediately made us feel at ease and gave us plenty of direction for posing. Our wedding photos turned out perfect! She got all the shots we wanted in addition to capturing so many sweet details and creative shots we would never have thought of. Several of our family and wedding party even mentioned how impressed they were with her efficiency getting through outdoor portraits on a very hot day. She is so talented and has a great eye!
The Best Wedding Photographer in Illinois
Finding and working with Nicole was one of the best decisions I could have ever made for mine and my husbands wedding. Nicole from day one made sure to make herself available and was so informative. No matter how many questions I had or if I just wanted to update her about something she was always there, literally a friend from a far. Leading up to wedding day Nicole checked in with me and made sure she was current and up to date with all things wedding, she assisted me with the timeline and overall flow of the wedding day and even added in some suggestions. Nicole showed up on wedding day and it was so nice finally meeting her in person after almost a year of Facetime, calls, and texts. I have never met someone more professional. I would recommend Nicole over and over to anyone because she provides such quality in her photos and it was an absolute joy working with her.

The Still Life Photography worked closely with us to ensure they captured the spirit of our day, providing prompt communication for all our questions and collaborating seamlessly with other vendors to keep the timeline on track. Isabel went above and beyond on our wedding day. Her positivity, direction, and friendliness made her an integral part of our celebration. Both she and Jessica were a joy to be around, bringing a sense of calm to our wedding party. I still smile thinking about how Isabel, on the moving trolley, pinned the boutonnieres to the ten groomsmen without being asked. She helped keep us on schedule and coordinated with other vendors to capture every moment of our day. They knew the perfect spots and angles to capture the best light and scenery. Even though my fiancé and I are not naturals in front of the camera, Isabel made us feel comfortable and at ease. We are beyond pleased with our photos and receive compliments from family and friends. Isabel provided just enough direction to guide us, while still capturing the candid emotions of the day. We look forward to working with Isabel to capture future life moments.
