We dodged a bullet
We booked Debra for our upcoming wedding, just arranging a time to speak with her proved to be difficult. I attempted 4 times to email her to ask for videographer recommendations without reply. She then emailed us to ask for the remaining balance ahead of when it was due so she could arrange her travel. The quality of her photos on her portfolio and those she posts vary tremendously. Upon us attempting to cancel services she was unwilling to refund any of our retainer fee, and insisted that we sign a cancelation contract that has a confidentiality clause in it. Throughout an email thread she was told over 10 times in writing that her services were canceled. She is insisting that we sign a 'legally binding cancelation' which has terms stating that both parties agree terms are fair and neither party are able to discuss any information regarding the contract. Debra is unorganized, nonresponsive, unprofessional and a poor choice to capture your big day. After doing a deeper dive there are plenty of other negative reviews of her. We are so thankful we dodged a bullet and did not keep her as our wedding photographer.

To clarify a few points for transparency: • I did experience a delay in responding to your request for vendor referrals, which I fully acknowledged and apologized for. • The retainer fee is clearly stated in the contract as non-refundable, as it secures your date and covers the time and planning invested in advance. • The cancellation agreement you were asked to sign is a standard industry practice—meant to confirm in writing that services are canceled and both parties understand the terms already outlined in the original contract. • The confidentiality clause was not intended to silence, but to protect both parties and avoid miscommunication moving forward. I recognize that wedding planning can be stressful, and I truly regret that our communication didn’t align during this time. I remain committed to improving in every way I can and wish you all the best in your future plans.Gorgeous pics
They did the photography for our wedding and reception. Our pics are beautiful! Way beyond our expectations! They are super easy to work with and we had some of our photos the very next day:) My husband and I had waited a very long time for our day and they captured it perfectly. Beyond blessed. Highly recommend.

Debra Aslanidis Photography saved the day for us! I originally had booked with a photographer who was scamming brides. I was so stressed and my trust was completely lost. I frantically searched for a new photographer and Debra reached out. She reassured me of everything and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She answered any and all questions I had. She was so understanding and great to work with. She would always check in on me making sure I was ready for the big day. The day of the wedding Debra and Jeremy were awesome. They did everything we asked and made us and everyone felt super comfortable! Couldn’t recommend more!

My wife and I hired Debra and her husband for our wedding; she and her husband went above and beyond. They captured AMAZING shots and were fantastic to work with. They were very kind and captured the vibe perfectly. They *got* it from the beginning, including the free engagement shoot they provided. At her suggestion we shot it in a graveyard and we could not be happier with the results. On the big day, they worked as a perfect team and got fantastic shots at perfect times. Honestly speaking I did not even notice them - which helped give us real and authentic photos of the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend them enough - they go above and beyond and are the sweetest people to work with. 1000/10 experience, if we did it all again we would still choose Debra as our photographer :)
