Hi, Thanks for reading! Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.

I look at photography as a window into some of the most important moments in the lives of my clients. I love life and consider myself blessed to capture memories and the celebrations of milestones. I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors of the horses always have been inspiring to me. I’ve always wanted to recreate them, but was never really able to. Honestly, my painting/drawing skills were and still are terrible, and that’s when photography came up in my life. I would create imaginary cameras out of my toys and would ‘photograph’ the horses and my neighbors. Photographing people became my passion and then evolved into my work in editorial and wedding photography.
