My husband and I are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Rokeby. Marina was an absolute delight to work with and helped us create our perfect day. Rokeby allows for so much flexibility- we could choose where to have the ceremony, where to have the reception, whether or not to stay overnight in the mansion. We could structure our day however we wanted knowing that we had no restrictions other than what time the reception had to end. Marina's love and attachment to Rokeby shone through and transferred to us. The view cannot be beat, the grounds are gorgeous and the porch is the perfect location for cocktail hour.

The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island provided the dreamiest backdrop for our wedding last month! Their entire team went above and beyond for us on our big day. Our friends and family raved about the location, the ambiance, the food, the service. About an hour before our ceremony started, it began to pour outside- and we were meant to have an outdoor ceremony! My husband and I sat in our vintage taxi parked out front of the venue, and watched The Sanctuary staff run around in the torrential downpour to save our ceremony and move everything indoors- and the fact that the rain only put us about 15 minutes behind the original schedule?! I’m still not sure how they managed it. Would also like to send a special shout out to Amelia, who more recently joined the Sanctuary team as event coordinator- she was not part of the team when we first signed out contract, but she proved to be an invaluable resource to us on the day of the wedding. She is a fabulous addition! Alfonso gave us our first tour of the venue that made us fall in love with the space. Frank was so patient and kind and answered all of our questions- and even helped us accommodate a last minute addition guest who was originally too ill to attend our wedding but who luckily recovered well enough to be able to come. Thank you again to the Sanctuary team from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding the most magical and special day of our life!

If you have visited the Foundry, you know how amazing and beautiful it is, but what you don’t know before you work with them is how responsive and helpful they are once you have committed to them. We had about 130 guests and used the main room for the ceremony, the greenhouse room and space outside for the cocktail hour, the courtyard for the reception dinner, the main room again for the dancing, and the greenhouse room again for the after party (11 to midnight). We also rented the Du Val suite for getting ready, and it was a superb space for the groom’s party and extended family to get ready and hang out and also has the most beautiful garden with city views. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and vindicated our immediate love for the Foundry that we developed the first time we toured it, and the Foundry staff are extremely helpful and kind.

3 West Club was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding day. We got married at the end of October and planned on 75 guests, many of whom were from out of town. The location was ideal for those traveling to NYC for the first time and wanting to be in the center of everything. From our first inquiry, Jonah (the on-site coordinator) was quick, efficient, and incredibly helpful in answering any questions or concerns we had. We ordered the Silver Package which came with an open bar, 3-course meal with tastings included, and a suite for the wedding night, with upgrades available for everything. We also had access to the venue for the entire day, which allowed the groom to get ready in the Library and the bride to get ready in a rented room. Due to its history, it made for a beautiful and dynamic background for pictures as well! The venue was intimate and classic, with several open spaces that allowed our guests to mingle comfortably after returning from a separate location for the ceremony. We started in the Solarium for a cocktail hour which had stunning views of the city and where we could watch the sun set, before moving to the Grand Ballroom for the reception. Many of our guests stayed in rooms at the venue or around, so it was an easy trip back for most. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing - many of our guests raved about them far after the wedding, and were especially impressed by the quantity and service (they cater to dietary restrictions as well). The 3 West Club team went above and beyond to make our day special, even allowing my sister (the MOH) to check in early so she could drop off my wedding dress. They also prioritized serving non-alcoholic champagne to the groom, which was a thoughtful touch, and our guests complimented the staff and how fun they were during the reception! Lastly, I want to thank Jonah for being such an incredible support and help during the entire process. He was always available, even handing out his personal cell, so that we could make sure to get in touch. He provided recommended vendors who ended up working perfectly since they were familiar with the venue, and was adaptable in working within our budget and our timeline. Plus, he's a fun and friendly guy who just made working with so many moving parts much easier. I cannot recommend 3 West Club enough for couples looking for a beautiful, intimate, and high-quality wedding venue with an incredible team behind it.

JD and Cassie have been exceptional to work with - from the minute we met them at our initial tour we knew we were in amazing hands! They always promptly and kindly answered our emails, and all our changes never seemed to be a problem. They truly supported and cared for us every step of the way, and made the entire process not just easy, but fun! In addition to Cassie and JD, the entire team at the Wythe - from hotel porters, to bar and wait staff - were so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Seriously 10/10 hospitality from the entire team. And I can’t leave a review without mentioning the tasting night that they offer - it was by far our favorite part of the entire wedding planning process, and such a fun - and delicious - date night!! (OMG the food and beverage from Le Crocodile is so so so good!). We count ourselves so lucky to be part of the Wythe Wedding alumni and can’t wait to return year after year for our anniversary!

There is a French kitchen aesthetic downstairs and a modern upstairs. We wouldn't change anything about our day and had a fantastic experience with Maison May, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couples looking for an intimate space with AMAZING food.

19Main
New Milford, CT

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.
