Intimate, enchanting, and festive, Foxglove Lodge is an island escape you won't find anywhere else. I attended a spectacular wedding at Foxglove Lodge. The grounds and nature were nothing short of magical. Since it is nestled in the trees with ample space away from any other residences or commercial properties, we were able to dance the night away to our music. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, and unique venue.

UW Botanic Gardens

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

UW Botanic Gardens has two beautiful spaces to offer. The first, located at the Center for Urban Horticulture. The second, located at the Washington Park Arboretum. Both spaces offer ample outdoor space, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Both spaces are not far from Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington.

Being in the events industry for over 24 years in the Seattle area, the UW Botanic Gardens was one of the first venues our company worked at and is still the best overall facility we partner with today! The communication and flexibility make the UWBG the most well rounded venue with its indoor and outdoor options, ample parking, supplies available on site and most importantly the kind staff that work there from in the office to the folks who are on site during the events assisting as needed. As a catering company it is refreshing that the UWBG is run by gracious people that have been well trained enough to understand their clients needs as well as what it takes to run an amazing event balancing everything from client & vendor needs, flow of an event, layout... they just get it! They make things easier for everyone, and both corporate and social clients should be very grateful that this centrally located space is available. It is a rare combination from my experience to excel in so many areas of the event industry all wrapped in one awesome venue.

Welcome to Edlynn Farm, the beautiful Pacific Northwest barn wedding venue where you can say “I Do” with Mount Rainier behind you and dance the night away in the barn of your dreams. Situated on 46 acres overlooking the Puyallup River Valley and Mount Rainier, Edlynn Farm showcases the beauty and charm that only this little corner of the world can offer. Edlynn Farm was originally a logging property. When our family found it, we knew there was something special here. In making the property what it is today, our goal was always to make you feel the sense of magic that we experienced on our first days on the Farm. As a family-owned-and-operated venture, we hold the Farm, and all the events here, close to our heart and are delighted to share this special place with you.

Edlynn Farm was an absolutely gorgeous, rustic venue for our wedding day. Their spacious grounds and beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop. Throughout the planning process, the venue coordinator was extremely efficient, fast, and reliable in communication. She responded quickly to any questions we had and provided recommendations that helped our big day run smoothly. On the wedding day, the staff at Edlynn Farm was very accommodating and helpful in making sure things were set up properly and assisting vendors. They went above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Edlynn Farm to any couples looking for a scenic, rustic setting with fantastic service.

We offer a unique picturesque setting that are guaranteed to make your day spectacular. We are confident that Parsons will be the perfect backdrop to your wedding. Perfectly tailored for a rustic theme, but upscaled enough to impress your guests. Facility rentals are available year-round with limited availability for weddings based on Rental and Program calendars. We can accommodate groups of 25 to 400. At least one overnight stay required for wedding events. Cabins are rustic, dorm-style, with 4 to 10 beds per room and separate bathhouses. Many buildings are heated and all within walking distance of the main hall, but some are open-air enclosed cabins. Our event spaces are large and suitable for big group meetings and activities. Outdoor ceremonies can be held throughout the grounds or in the main hall. Our 4,000-sf main dining hall has a large commercial kitchen. The in-floor heating system retains heat in the event of a winter power outage.

Getting married at Camp Parsons was great. Josh Cunningham, the camp director, went above and beyond to help us with our special day. Josh answered any and all questions, answering with the most friendly, helpful attitude. The camp is situated in a private and gorgeous area, right on the bay. If you/guest love camping this is a great place to rent out for a long weekend wedding. We rented out the whole camp Friday-Sunday afternoon and our guests had a blast. Because the camp is nestled between forest and ocean it afforded us a lot of opportunities for amazing pictures. The health lodge was perfect for getting ready and for us (bride and groom) to stay in the night of the wedding. All in all, the venue was affordable, had everything we needed for a successful wedding and we will forever have great memories of our marriage.

Lake Lawrence Community was once called “Edwards Pavilion” was established in 1923 by Louie Armstrong and Amber Reichel. All logs to build the lodge were felled from off the lake property itself and the fireplace was erected by Frank Noreen from Deschutes Falls. It took about one year to completed the building. This became an extension of Edwards Resort, a fishing a recreational getaway, here on Lake Lawrence. Afterwards many dances were held in the building. In 1973 the over 50-year-old resort closed, and the camping era came to an end. The resort property is now enjoyed by many private property homeowners. The playground, swimming area, and Edwards Pavilion became part of the Lake Lawrence Community Club, which still maintains these facilities for the benefit of their members. I am so glad we decided to go with Capitol City Barn. They had everything we needed. Tables, chairs, linens, things for decor, flexibility, heaters, arch for the altar, and more. On our wedding day we had clear skies in the forecast (rare for late October) and when the thunderstorm came in right at our ceremony time, they were quick to move things around so that we could have it outside only for the rain to stop and help us move it all outside again! I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

River Valley Oasis

  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

A truly Pacific Northwest wedding venue surrounded by moss and fern-covered forest. The mighty Pilchuck river flows freely along 300 feet of venue footage, allowing each guest to have a dynamite view and experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
We began looking for wedding venues a year in advance, and from the moment we met Jamie and James, we knew River Valley Oasis was the one. Their warmth, friendliness, and clear love for their venue made booking an easy decision. What really attracted us was the venue’s secluded, natural atmosphere—peaceful and serene, yet still easy to find via GPS. Plus, the convenience of hosting all our events and guests in one location made our day so much smoother. We were also thrilled that they provided MC equipment, a refrigerator/freezer, and all the tables and chairs, saving us the hassle of renting. They even offer a helpful website to connect with vendors, which we used for several wedding services. Jamie and James went above and beyond for us. James graciously let us use his newly crafted tables, which added a special touch to our welcome table, sweetheart table, and dessert station. Everything came together perfectly, and you can see the beautiful craftsmanship in the photos! My husband and I highly recommend River Valley Oasis for any special gathering. The experience was flawless from start to finish.
