The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens is an enchanting wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. Dating back to 1890, this mansion was romantically constructed by John Mouat as an ode to his beloved wife, Amelia. After more than a century, it now operates as a luxurious Bed and Breakfast as well as an attractive event destination. The mansion has been beautifully restored to its original floor plan. The spacious third floor ballroom gives access to the top of the turret with great views of Downtown Denver and the surrounding Potter Highland neighborhood. In the 1890s, the ballroom originally hosted teas, dances and social functions for the elite of Denver through the 1890s continuing on into the early 1900s. Behind the mansion, is our amazing spacious garden. It is an oasis in the city. Shaded by enormous narrow leafed cottonwood trees and filled with a variety of flowers, and fountains, the garden is amazing.

The Kirk of Highland is a wedding and event venue situated in the heart of the historic Highland neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. The historic venue was constructed in 1890 and remains one of the city’s most recognizable sights. The Kirk of Highland offers three unique event spaces that can accommodate up to 225 wedding guests. The 2,800-square-foot private patio garden provides an intimate outdoor space for you and your guests to enjoy with our market lights and working fountain. The gallery provides an open, spacious area for an indoor reception- the perfect blank canvas for your event! The 4,000-square-foot space is ideal for dining and dancing the night away among our stained glass windows. Our historic and unique Sanctuary is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony, church, concerts, speaking events with the 288 original seats.
