In addition, we have proudly continued to preserve history by restoring a barn from the 1700s that we discovered in Barnstead, New Hampshire, and brought to the coast of Maine. Foster’s Clambakes and Catering is an event venue and full-service catering company located in York Harbor, Maine. Foster’s is famous for its clambakes, lobster, Maine cuisine and personal service. They offer indoor and outdoor receptions, rehearsal dinners and ceremonies at their venue. They are also partnered with several seacoast event venues and cater throughout New England. Foster’s main function space which can host 75-300 guests, is a rustic space with stone fireplaces, surrounded by windows with access to outdoor cocktail space lit by bistro lighting with a fire pit. There is a grassy outdoor ceremony or reception space that can hold ceremonies of all sizes or tented events for up to 400 guests. The barn at ColdSpring Farm was built in 2008-09 and updated as a venue in 2019. It is a true post and beam barn intended originally for our horses but they prefer to be outside no matter what the weather or season! The barn is rustic yet elegant and has many lovely features to facilitate your special day! The downstairs is fully equipped for dining or dancing, cocktails or even your ceremony should rain threaten. The upstairs is bright, open and typically where dinner is served and a great place for dancing into the evening. A sweet Bride's Cottage sits near our ceremony area. It is a magical little cottage meant for the bride and her party. The ceremony area is fully of live edge benches and a beautiful cedar arbor. And finally, the patio has a large fire pit, a bocce court, rustic tables and plenty of spots for s'mores and fun throughout your day and evening.
