About this venue

Once a colonial farmstead known as Cherry Hill Farm, the Bradley Estate was transformed in 1902 into a classic country estate. Dr. Arthur Tracey Cabot hired noted Architect Charles Platt to design a great house, landscaped grounds, and a complex of farm and estate buildings. Platt adorned the lovely natural setting with manicured lawns, a walled garden, and a brick-edged parterre garden. In 1945, Cabot's niece Eleanor Cabot Bradley acquired Cherry Hill Farm and lived there with her husband until its bequest to The Trustees of Reservations in 1991. Mrs. Bradley made some notable additions to the property, including a greenhouse and a studio. Today, the Bradley Estate is open to the public and the house and grounds host special occasions for both private and corporate clients.

The Bradley Estate is an ideal location for a wedding ceremony, and most couples exchange their vows on-site before their receptions. The formal parterre garden surrounds a manicured lawn, which makes for 360 degrees of beautiful backdrops for photographs. The low brick wall surrounding the garden adds a beautiful touch, and the water fountain makes for a serene setting.

Tent Weddings

Turning off of Route 128 and arriving at this 90-acre country retreat means stepping from one world to another, and for good reason

Weddings with more than 80 guests are tented receptions with dining and dancing held underneath a tent that is adjacent to the house on the North Lawn. You and your guests may use the terrace and gardens for your ceremony and cocktail hour and the entire first floor in the mansion for socializing.

House Weddings

A gorgeous backdrop to your wedding

Weddings with up to 80 guests can be held in the house on select dates. There are beautiful views from every window, which overlook the trees, gardens and lawns. You and your guests may use the terrace for the cocktail hour, and the entire first floor for your dining and dancing reception. Enjoy a private changing room on the second floor for the wedding couple and attendants.
