She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan. “Julia is truly the BEST photographer out there and she makes everyone look SO GOOD!! We booked her for both our engagement session and our wedding because we loved her so much! She is so skillful at finding beautiful angles and working with natural lighting, and she was great at directing us with suggested poses that didn’t look forced or unnatural. She was also really easy to work with: we met up beforehand to communicate our vision and discuss the kinds of photographs that we wanted for the engagement session and we did that again for our wedding. “Bethany and Raquel are artists of the finest caliber and they will deliver above and beyond your expectations. I cannot stress this to you enough: Book them immediately! They excel at both pieces of the wedding photographer's role: the experience of having them photograph the event, and the photos they deliver at the end. On your wedding day: They of course will follow your requested shoot list, portraits of family, and whatever else you want to prioritize for your wedding day. *But the real magic they deliver is that everyone forgets they are there.* Your family doesn't feel like they're being stalked by paparazzi or in a never ending staged photo shoot. I don't know how they do it, they didn't meet anyone in my family before our wedding, but every photo they delivered was an authentic reflection of that person and the moment. Nothing felt strained, staged, or uncomfortable for the subjects. Several of my family members, including my husband, don't love being photographed, and they were both so sensitive to that without losing anything important. They melt into the background and capture the smallest, lovely moments you didn't even know were happening. When they deliver the photos: The story of our wedding was told brilliantly in the first set of preview photos, which they delivered very quickly after the wedding, and even more so when we saw the full set of photos and the album. They are very responsive and delivered the shots exactly on the promised timeline and of course answered every single question we could have had along the way. They also helped us create a timeline for the day which kept everything on track and as planned which helped keep my head on straight!
