Charlene was the essential glue to all our wedding events! Nothing was done by wedding venue, we had to coordinate every piece ourselves: food, music, ceremony, dance floor, alcohol, waiting staff, cakes, flowers, transportation and more (all of them from different vendors!) Because of that, we lacked an overseer who could help us ensure all the final details were on track and working right. Our conversations with Charlene leading up to the wedding put us at ease, because she saw things we didn't see and fleshed out our plans, covering all the nitty gritty details we barely had the energy for, and it was a HUGE LIFESAVER. Not only that, but Charlene also helped us out when we were in a pinch during the day of the wedding and after. She went above and beyond, and we're so, so grateful. If you are looking for someone with a "don't worry, I got this" approach and who delivers, BOOK LIV! Even if you think you have everything accounted for, you don't, but Liv does! Liv truly stepped up for the ceremony to make sure all of our requests happened, even with changes happening the day before. The reception was perfect and Liv made sure our vision became a reality. I brought a lot of extra decor so I'm sure it was not easy to set everything up, but Liv made it happen! I was able to enjoy the day and not fret about details. Corinne and Molly made our day so seamless to the point where my husband and I could focus on us and our guests. From our first meeting to the day, they worked through hiccups with vendors that we would have missed and gave us amazing recommendations to make our wedding day perfect. We came ready and prepared with all of our vendors, and they stitched up the final communications for the wedding and made it so seamless, even finding another vendor for napkins 2 hours before the day started because ours forgot them! Not only are they amazing coordinators, but they're amazing people. Any communication that we had with Corinne and/or Molly felt so curated to us, and although we knew that they were coordinating other weddings, it felt that they had all their efforts focused on us. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. Meg and Julianne were absolute angels about helping us pull off a very DIY backyard wedding! Everything from keeping track of our timeline to ensuring we stayed fed and caffeinated to providing equipment and finishing touches to the decor. It was amazing to have somebody to keep track of all the little day-of details you don't even know to consider- like making sure your bouquet is on hand when a random guest photoshoot starts up or shooing random cousins from vaping near the kid's table. Julianne was an absolute sweetheart and a very calming presence for the whole day while still being able to be a firm advocate for our peace even when our family was not always able to do that. The only regret I have is not hiring a coordinator for the entire weekend instead of just the reception!

Originally I thought I could handle wedding planning myself with the help of our venue coordinator -- but as our wedding day approached, the overwhelming amount of logistics planning our wedding from the other side of the country sent me into a tailspin. Enter Charity -- leaving our first discovery call I immediately felt myself relax. It was an easy decision to hire her and my only regret is not hiring her from Day 1! Charity is kind-hearted, detail-oriented, creative, and knows her stuff. We hired her for "Wedding Coordination & Management" 5 months before our wedding, but her support went far beyond our expectations for that sort of service. As soon as we signed our contract, Charity was available to answer any questions I had (even little things like, are real or fake candles better?), and three months out she really dove in. She attended all of our vendor meetings, asking questions we never would have thought of, advocating for our vision, and reassuring our decisions. She managed communications and made sure we and our vendors all stayed on track. When it came to the wedding weekend (9/14/24), Charity was our biggest cheerleader and fierce protector. Leading our rehearsal she made sure to tell everyone that SHE was their point of contact and not to bother myself or my husband the day of the wedding. She arrived on our wedding day before any vendors showed up and stayed until the last vendor left. This woman walked over 14 MILES running around making sure everyone was doing their job and everything was perfectly in place on our wedding day. Our decor was set up perfectly, we ran EARLY on our timeline (I've been in a lot of wedding and know it's a miracle to even be on time), and us and our entire families were able to fully relax, unbothered, knowing that everything was being handled by a pro. When it came to the end of the night, we were able to go enjoy our after party with our guests without worrying about tearing down our event. We woke up the next morning to everything put away neatly back in their boxes ready for us to haul home. Charity's support literally followed through to the very last minute. To those brides whose venues come with a coordinator — I would seriously recommend still hiring Charity. A venue coordinator is not t he same as what Charity offers. That wasn't clear to me before, but it's very clear after. If you want someone who can support coordination across ALL of your vendors, be by your side in the months leading up to the event, and advocate for your vision throughout, do not wait until the end like me! We truly didn't have a single thing go wrong on our wedding day, and I am certain that would not have been the case without Charity! My husband and I started planning our destination wedding at Blair Hill Inn and as our day was quickly approaching we realized we would benefit from a day-of coordinator in order to truly enjoy our wedding day. Meagan is everything you’d expect a travel agent to be AND MORE. The organization, the promptness, the expertise she has in all things travel related provides a huge sense of comfort and ease when planning a trip. My husband and I experienced a hiccup during our honeymoon and Meagan leapt into action to assist even with the time change being 5 hours ahead of EST which led to a VERY early morning for her to help troubleshoot. I thought I (ALL CAPS THERE!) was a perfectionist until I met Allie LeBon. If you're thinking "is this worth it?" or "do I really need a planner?" or even, "I can do this all myself." ...you maaaybe can, but if you want your day to be utterly spectacular - hire Allie. I can't stress enough the importance of hiring someone like her. Our entire day was magic because of her and her CityLux team. We started out our journey with a clear goal, but it all felt a bit daunting. Allie was with us from start to finish (top to bottom planning and day-of!) and made every step along the way incredible. She was prompt, professional, honest, and kind. It's hard to find vendors that are as "on their game." There were times that we were completely at a loss for what was next and she always communicated with clarity so we felt comfortable and prepared to make decisions. There were sooooo many details only she could have thought of. Just when you think you have it figured out, there are 3 more things Allie was thinking of. I constantly said, "oh wow.. I didnt even think of that." Like coordinating bus routes and timing that out... no thank you! We felt like it was all under control because of her meticulous documentation, flawless communication with our other vendors, and emergency plans she put in motion behind the scenes. MOST importantly, she makes sure you can focus on your day and nothing else. From the napkins, to the placecards, to our grass wall, to our place settings, to the drink signs, and everything else in between, it was all so complete and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Not to mention, she professionally vetoed some of our ideas, and finding someone who knows what's realistic and what's not is hard to find. I've recommended her to ALL my friends and every time I get rave reviews. Don't go it alone throughout this process. Go with Allie and go with CityLux! PS: The picture you see with our reaction was exactly the moment we saw our vision come to life at the reception. Speechless.
