Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Ballenger farm is quaint and magical with goats, chickens, ducks, and the sweetest black cat named Peter Pan. The Quaker-built farmhouse, which is open for overnight stays, has stood for over 250 years and is decorated in a delightful East meets West circa 1890 sort of way. While it's primarily an outdoor venue with ceremony spots by a fairytale tree, forested columns, and a cozy courtyard, there's also a small barn (corn crib) in case of rain or too much sun. An Fierm, which translates to “The Farm” in Irish, was originally a smaller four bedroom house, primarily used as a getaway cabin and romantic escape. Over the years, the Brandons added over 3000 square feet of living space and amenities including a great room, a stone wood-burning fireplace, a wine cellar, a pool, a game room, and a private balcony overlooking the estate. The mansion is now well over 5000 square feet- comprised of 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and a stunning designer kitchen. All in all, the mansion can sleep 16 people comfortably. With over 300 acres of private farm land, 200 acres of which is farmed crop.
