Heidi Michelle Photography

Leavenworth, WA
  • Photojournalistic style

I have been photographing weddings for 25 years this year and I feel so blessed to have my career! I am passionate about what I do! My role is making sure you are back with your guests and joining your party asap! My style is quick and fun! I love when couples tell me how much fun they had! We typically meet up at my favorite brewery in town, which is gratefully minutes from my home. 😉 I live smack in the middle of Leavenworth Washington, which is the most incredible mountain town. I've lived here for 18 years and know all the best hidden locations. Choosing local truly matters to our small town of 3500 locals. Thank you for choosing us!

Heidi is the absolute best, we loved working with her! She has years of experience and it clearly shows both in the pictures she captures but also the whole wedding photo experience she delivers. Heidi captured the most precious moments and memories from our big day and I am grateful to her that we will always have those. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and its truly all Heidi! She is extremely talented and wastes no time when taking group photos, the couple, family etc so that you have plenty of time to enjoy your wedding reception with your guests. We absolutely love her and had her shoot our maternity photos as well, and will continue to use her in the future! We cannot recommend her enough.

The entire HCP team was so fun to work with you and will put you right at ease. I've gotten to do 3 shoots with Heather to date and am incredibly pleased with how our photos have come out. In fact, I haven't even gotten the final album for our wedding yet (just previews) and i'm STILL impressed! If you have the opportunity to work with this team, take it. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Venture Ever After

4.9

Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Grand Coulee, WA

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
Leah photographed our wedding at my family's property in Napa Valley, June 2024. Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. I felt like I was looking at photos from a Brides magazine, but it was me! Another thing I'll mention is that Leah gives direction in a kind, calm and encouraging way. My husband is not too confident in photos and he felt SO comfortable posing with her there, and loves his photos too! I felt like she could guide me into more flattering poses when I felt uncertain about my angles. I love Leah and her work and would recommend her to anyone!

Lindsey Paradiso Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200
  • Serves Grand Coulee, WA

Like most children in the late 90's and early 00's, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!

Lindsey is the best decision we made for our wedding. We knew choosing our photographer was important, and while we initially picked her based off her photography style and the art she created for weddings, what we ended up with was so much more. She wrangled our scatter brained families, she kept everyone on track, and she always looked out for US. She was exactly as direct and forceful as our families required, without ruffling any feathers. She was professional, kind, and an over all rockstar. During the ceremony I caught a glimpse of her literally sprinting around with her camera in unforgiving heat. Lindsey gave it her all, for 10 hours straight, just to make sure we had memories of our special day. The day after our wedding Lindsey's name came up multiple time amongst our family and friends, always followed by the words "awesome" "amazing" "incredible". I never want to plan a wedding again, but if I did my first call would be to Lindsey.

No matter who you are or where you came from, everyone has a story, and stories were meant to be told. I tell stories through photography. Weddings are incredibly meaningful and intimate. I’m not just someone with a camera who shows up and takes pictures. I believe in truly connecting and engaging with my clients so I can best understand how I can tell their story. With a bright, clean, and vibrant photography style, I help bring my client’s vision to life through beautiful photos that can be cherished forever.

We were recommended to Jonathan by a friend and we were happy we selected him as our wedding photographer. In our video calls, he took time to get to know us and to learn what was important to us. We didnt want our wedding day to feel like a photo shoot and preferred a journalistic approach. Before the wedding, he provided a very helpful guide to prepare us for the big day. He was prompt in his email communications and we appreciated the attentiveness he gave us. During the wedding, he was good at being inconspicuous while taking photos. For most of the day, we didnt realize he and the second photographer were there! We gave him the nickname “Photo Ninja”! This allowed us to fully be in the moment and enjoy our wedding. Jonathan revealed the finished photos about a month after the wedding. We were very satisfied with them. There was a mix of group photos, journalistic photos of the ceremony/reception, still photos of decorations, and candid photos of the wedding party and guests. He did a great job of capturing the memories from the wedding. Overall, we are very pleased with Jonathans work. He was accommodating and flexible to fit our needs and budget. He was friendly and easy to talk to. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

Hospitable, professional, respectful, and talented!!! We planned a destination wedding in Seattle in three months and were blessed to find MXBloom Films via Facebook. We could not have been happier with the process and the end result. Neil was incredibly responsive and thorough as we planned through all the details via email/phone and made our wedding day absolutely seamless. Their team was at the venue early and had already captured so much before we even had to ask for anything. They delivered with those and so much more than what we expected. I work in luxury hospitality and would recommend them to anyone in the Washington area that is looking for quality photography and film to capture the emotions of your event/wedding/family. We hardly noticed they were recording the most memorable moments. After the final product was presented we even asked for a few small tweaks and they did so graciously, timely, and presented us with beautiful videos and photos. Passionate, remarkable, and meticulous... thank you MXBlooms for memorializing our special day in perfect fashion.

Sound Originals Photo & Video

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Grand Coulee, WA

Sound Originals Photo & Video is a team of EMMY award winning storytellers. Our photography and videography packages are tailored to you, customizable and perfect for every wedding. We offer engagement photography, wedding photos, highlight films, wedding coverage and more.

We initially went with Sound Originals out of cost consideration and ease of booking because their combined photo/video package seemed so much more cost effective than many of the quotes we were getting from individual photographers and videographers. We assumed therefore that the quality might be a bit diminished by comparison, but were quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case! We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.

Every individual has a unique tale, and mine is quite the whirlwind! When I was 5, my family left our Michigan home and has been on the move ever since. After living across the globe, I now proudly call Salt Lake City, UT my home sweet home with my wonderful husband, our sweet daughter, and our White German Shepherd! My journey toward becoming a wedding photographer is fueled by my romantic spirit, hope for deep connections, and wandering the world in pursuit of love. The idea of spreading love near and far, and passing on that love through generations puts a smile on my face every day.

Awarded Best of Zola
I hired Lauren as my wedding photographer for my wedding in June of 2024 and truly can't find the words to accurately describe how incredible she was. Capturing the memories of our day was such an important piece of our wedding and we really did not take our photographer selection lightly. My husband and I are also not the most comfortable people around a camera, so I wanted to find someone who was not only a talented and creative photographer, but also someone who would make us feel comfortable. Lauren went above and beyond at doing that. She captured the big moments beautifully, but also captured the small intimate moments. I was amazed looking back at some of the photos, because I hadn't even realized she was there taking them. She was mindful of all the shots we requested, but also came to us with poses and ideas that ended up being some of our favorite photos from the wedding. She was so communicative with planning and I always felt like we were in good hands, not to mention she sent us sneak peek photos before I had even washed my wedding makeup off that night! Her energy was infectious and she melted into our day so effortlessly. I am so beyond happy we chose Lauren and will recommend her to everyone looking for a photographer to capture their most special moments!

Sunbeam Studio Photography

Denver, CO

I’m a Colorado-based wedding and elopement photographer, and I shoot everywhere from Europe to locally in Denver! My favorite thing about photography is capturing the candid “in-between” moments, real emotions, and when people bring their dogs to their shoots. I work with my clients to create memories that last beyond their wedding day, and deliver photos that capture the fun, romantic and timeless moments so you can re-live them for years to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kelsey is an incredibly talented photographer - she truly "sees" the subject of the photo. She understands their energy, personality, and their comfort (and discomfort) zones. Kelsey has the ability to capture these special moments in time in a photo, that when revisited/looked at after the event, take you RIGHT back to that moment. She is artistic, professional, and consistent with her art and business. She is always exactly where you need her to be, and extremely reliable. She puts the client at ease, even when being in front of a camera is not the most comfortable experience for most people! She is organized in her approach before, during and after the event but never too pushy or overbearing. She listens, observes, and performs at a very high level. Working with Kelsey was a dream, and I feel thankful to have worked with her. I believe the photographer is the most important vendor during the "wedding" process (engagement, wedding, etc.) and I struck gold with Sunbeam!!

Traci and Bill of Adventure and Vow are hands-down the reason our day was perfect. From the initial virtual consult, we knew we were in good hands, but little did we imagine just how amazing they truly are. Traci is the epitome of a meticulous planner with enthusiasm that emanates whenever the landscape sparks inspiration for the perfect shot. Her talent is unparalleled and creativity endless, and it’s truly a privilege to witness the passion she pours into her work – a passion that speaks for itself in the breathtaking photographs she captures. Despite having met us in person just the day before, Bill proved to be an empathetic observer who was attentive to everyone. His fun-loving and good-spirited nature immediately put us at ease, helping ensure our personalities were captured in the photographs. He even took the time to explain the best route out of the park to Alex’s mom, optimizing her sightseeing experience. Together, Traci and Bill are the most intentional, professional, and talented pair who complement each other in every way. Even our guests were floored. We felt like we’d known them forever and are so grateful for the new friendships. If you are thinking of hiring an elopement photographer, we can tell you that working with Adventure and Vow was the best decision we made, and you will not regret it!

We specialize in capturing the magic of your wedding day. We bring your memories to life with our lenses, turning every unforgettable moment into eternal keepsakes of your love story. We’re dedicated to making your wedding vision a reality. From the first consultation to the final photo delivery, we prioritize open communication and transparency. Whether it's helping round up family members for photos or guiding you on where to put your hands during portraits (it can be awkward, we know!), we’re here to make sure you get the best photos on your wedding day! Let’s create something beautiful together!

In May 2023, I began my search for a photographer. My significant other had just proposed and I was on the hunt for someone amazing. As time went quick, I eventually dedicated myself to researching all the local photographers I could find in Skagit County/near by areas. Among my search, I was looking for high quality and an aesthetically pleasing style of photos/editing. The search was long and tedious, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel… and my light was AK Photography. Alexis and Katrina are the best photographers in Skagit county. They do family photos, weddings, engagement sessions, and much more! AK listened to my SO’s and own ideas, and provided valuable information during our wedding planning. AK photography is informative, collaborative, engaging, easy to communicate with, and the best option compared to all others I met with. The mini engagement session was stunning and matched our vibe. Plus, photos were received back in lighting time! During our wedding (June 2024), they brought every emergency item you could think of and assisted with resolving any problems that arose. Having a large (160 person) wedding was chaotic to say the least. The presence of AK was exactly what we needed, and they are the best fit for a couple looking to get wedding photos taken. Compared to all other photographers, AK brought twice the power and 10 times the productivity. My husband and I would not have felt as comfortable during our wedding if we did not have AK Photography. We will be going back to AK for forever more, and cannot wait to schedule our next mini session! Thank you AK Photography! Your presence, friendship, and photography ability is the best thing we could have asked for! Amazing work and outstanding delivery!

Stay Gold Tyler

5.0

Ruskin, FL
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Grand Coulee, WA

Celebrating the wholeness of life and the perfection of love I truly ask you to "stay gold"! My beautiful clients are couples of all genders, orientation, and identities who have found each other and want this moment in time captured in heirloom quality. We leave the churches and the hotels and venture into wild world, up the mountains, to the islands, into the forests, and out into the deserts. Stay Gold Tyler delivers stunning portraits, family heirloom formals, and b-roll candids that will have you laughing and "aww"ing for a lifetime. Tyler splits time between South Florida, New York City, and Seattle.

My husband and I got married on a hiking trail near Seattle in 2015. We lived in Nashville, and had never even been to Seattle, yet we had a trip planned there and decided to elope. I found Tyler's photography website online, and immediately could tell his style was exactly what I was looking for. The entire time leading up to our trip, Tyler's communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure our elopement went exactly like we wanted it to. He even let me ride with him to our elopement spot, as my soon-to-be husband rode with our officiant (we wanted to do a first look, so I didn't want to ride in the same vehicle). We didn't have a specific plan for that day, but Tyler facilitated it so effortlessly -- as if it had been planned all along. He suggested a first look at the base of the hiking trail, and after that we hiked together until we found a good clearing in the woods for the little ceremony. When that was over, we hiked the rest of the way to the top, where we took a few more photos and signed our wedding license. Tyler even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate! Tyler, his assistant, and our officiant were the only ones there besides my husband and I, and we enjoyed the day together as if we had been friends all along. Now that I've made it clear how highly I think of Tyler's communication, suggestions, and helpfulness, I'll add that his photography is incredible. I wasn't sure how the pictures would turn out, as our elopement day was overcast and seemed to be on the brink of rain-- but as soon as I saw them for the first time, I was blown away. In the years following, several people have told me our wedding photos are the best they have ever seen. Tyler took a beautiful location, and truly did it justice with his camera- a feat not every photographer can achieve. (And to think half of the photos were taken WHILE he was hiking alongside with us!) If you want a personable, professional, and helpful photographer who can deliver the photographs you'll cherish for the rest of your life, look no further. Tyler is your guy!!

I believe that everyone is beautiful. Somewhere deep within you, there is a fire of light and joy. Not everyone’s light shines in the same way or with the same strength or even all the time. Stuff changes. People are different, but deep down, everyone is connected to the little bit of themselves that is truly theirs. I’m also all about being adventurous. That could mean we’re going to go climb a mountain or it might mean we’re going to try the really spicy chai tea. By experiencing life in the process of making photos, you’re going to be even more connected to the images because they will have stories that go along with them.

We had the privilege of working with Joe for multiple wedding events as we wanted a fall mountain top elopement & micro party followed by a larger party in the spring. As we started planning the different events, it was most important to us to have a photographer experienced in mountain top celebrations. We decided to work with Joe and could not have chosen better. Joe not only ran up a mountain with us but was involved in all the planning details including sharing a list of the best larch hikes, watching the weather and pinpointing exactly when golden hour would be hitting specific peaks. Even as the sun was setting and the light was fading, Joe found all the last bits of alpenglow to make us feel and look like we were the only ones standing on top of the world. He even carried heavy film cameras with him to capture the evening and we're so glad he did as they resulted in some of our favorite photos. The photos Joe took exceeded all our expectations and we have been excited and proud to share them with all our friends and family. Joe's skill doesn't stop on a mountain top. For our micro and macro party events, he brought an incredible sense of calm and serenity to all the wedding chaos around us. He was somehow everywhere, capturing incredible candid moments while still taking leadership to direct the posed shots we wanted. Joe captured the differences and highlighted the uniqueness in each of our events and yet each gallery we received feels cohesive and timeless. It's impossible to choose favorites and it's going to be very difficult to determine which photos to hang on our walls.

Jos and Tree came highly recommended to us and, having worked with them, we now know why! A lot of people take wedding photos. Among them are a handful of folks who are also reliable, professional, and pleasant to work with. And within that smaller group, is an even smaller group of photographers who have real artistic vision matched with technical skill. Jos & Tree are, without a doubt, near the top of that select group. The images they produced of our wedding run the gamut from traditional wedding photos to absolute masterpieces of lighting, composition, and technical execution. Here's an example: as the day was wrapping up, and a bit *after* Jos and Tree's deadline for leaving had passed, they quickly posed my wife and I in front of a tree in the park; Jos had a vision for an image he wanted to capture in the fading light... and the resulting image proved absolutely magnificent; it is my favorite photo of the day, and among the top photographs I have seen anyone create, anywhere. On top of the artistic talent and skill, Jos & Tree were an absolute pleasure to work with; responsive, pleasant, personable, and fun. They were always on time, and ready to work... and work they did!! The amount of effort and energy they put into capturing lots of beautiful and creative images cannot be overstated. And then, they edited them beautifully, and have been working with us to select images to print and put in a book. The quality of their artistic consultation has been phenomenal. My wife and I have seen a lot of wedding photos that people proudly post online on sites like reddit. I can confidently say that I've yet to see more interesting and beautiful wedding photos than the ones I've seen from Jos and Tree. It's a pleasure to give these two lovely people our highest recommendation.

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

Becky worked with us for our elopement photoshoot in October 2023 and it was an incredible experience from inquiry through the photoshoot itself. I had been referred to Becky through a friend who had worked with Becky on her own beautifully photographed wedding. Becky’s warm response to my inquiry set the stage for a great experience. Becky is exceedingly organized and communicative, meeting with us over video chat and later chatting with us through her online portal. She helped us create a shared vision for the day, and leading up to the photoshoot, we felt confident the day would go very well. I was admittedly very nervous for the shoot, as I feel uncomfortable posing in front of a camera. Becky’s demeanor - calm, comfortable, funny, and enthusiastic - settled my nerves immediately and allowed me to be present with my husband on this meaningful day. The photos Becky took are simply incredible. She captured our relationship and new marriage beautifully, while also highlighting the gorgeous landscape. Becky’s photos are truly a gift we cherish.

Hey new friends! We’re Sam + Kyle elopement photographers splitting our time between the PNW and the SW in our RV. It takes a whole lot of badassery to make the decision to elope and we are very into that kind of energy. We believe in making memories and images that capture all of the big feelings, and the in-between moments that you want to relive over and over again. You know, the kind of photos that hang on your wall and make ya smile real big because you remember exactly how you felt in that moment. We are so glad that you’re here and can’t wait to run wild with you.

I can't say enough good things about Kyle and Sam. My wife, who is trans, and I really wanted to find someone who would be sensitive and respectful of our unique relationship and our non unique wedding(I'm Native American and Irish and so we had those elements in our wedding). Hit the jackpot! While they let us know up front that they hadn't worked with a trans couple before they also let us know that they firmly believe that love is love and they just want to capture our happiness and our day for us. They made my wife feel comfortable which is saying a lot since she had just come out as trans a couple months ago and she absolutely hated photos. They make a great team with Sam doing most of the communication and Kyle taking the lead on the photos(they both shot photos). Sam is a bundle of energy that has one focus-making things go smoothly and making sure you're happy. Kyle has an artistic point of view that clearly comes across in their finished products of being superb. They were great at dealing with last minute snafu's and helping me navigate everything. Their photos are absolutely brilliant and we could not be more happy with them. In fact, we are planning on hiring them again for our one year anniversary when we invite our family and friends since we didn't have a big wedding due to covid. While some people will be a bit concerned about their price, they absolutely are worth every single penny. Their professionalism, their personalities, and their work simply can't be matched. Thank you Sam and Kyle!

***I specialize in small events! Elopements and Micro Weddings. Hi Friends! I'm Alexandria! I'm a bubbly, dog lover who loves exploring and experiencing new things, so I'm so lucky to have found my home in Washington. I'm obsessed with tall trees, could stare at the waves crashing against the beach for hours, and love the jaw-dropping feeling I get when I see something truly just majestic in the mountains.

I am a wedding planner and Alexandria and I originally met at a wedding we worked together, where I was the planner and she was the photographer. As the planner, it's my job to communicate with the full team of vendors and make sure all of us are on the same page to serve the couple and do the best we can to give them the wedding they envisioned. Through no ones fault, this wedding didn't quite turn out as envisioned because there ended up being a tornado warning! This meant that we had to move what was originally supposed to be an outdoor rooftop ceremony to a banquet hall indoors and it put a lot of the planned outdoor group photography up in the air. Oh boy! I tell this story because now looking back at the photos from that wedding, I think some of the most special ones (at least from my outsider perspective) are the ones she captured from the couple's first look, which happened outdoors in the rain. Rain was not a part of the plan, but is forever now one of the most beautiful memories of this couples day. Alexandria's ability to roll with things and capture the realness of what was happening is not a talent every photographer has (and I've worked with a lot)! She was exactly what you'd look for in a vendor - great communication, being one step ahead of things, knowing exactly where to have her eyes and lens on what was important to capture in the moment. A few years later I was lucky enough to be the coordinator, hired by Alexandria and her husband for their "big" wedding so they were able to enjoy their day. It is always an honor to be a vendor trusted by another vendor for their wedding because they can be understandable more selective in who they want to work with. It was a joy to get to know her more on a personal level through this process, and the values and vibes that are important to her. Her and her husband had already been living in Washington for some time and I could tell the Pacific NW lifestyle was perfect for them, which translates directly into the updated direction of her photography business. I appreciate a vendor that doesn't try and be everything to everyone, and instead focuses on a tailored, personalized experience to be able to specifically serve those they align with the best. Also, listen to me as a planner - Photography is one of the MOST important vendors and spends you should make for your wedding because when everything is said and done, all you will have are those photos. Plan your adventure elopement with her today!

I'm Allie - so stoked you are here. Few random fun facts about me: My incredible husband and I have been together for 13 years (eeek), and have three beautiful babies together. I never say no to a good latte. An exciting action movie, anything Marvel really, or an episode of Friends is usually on in the background somewhere on any given random evening, or when I’m editing – keeping me company! I love to travel- who doesn’t though? A good beach, delicious taco or anything with guac on top is usually my go to, and an icy cold drink sums up a top list vacation spot for me.

I’ll start with the most important thing: my husband hates taking pictures and hates hiring photographers. When we had our first engagement shoot with Allie, about 3 years ago, his mind was changed. Allie has a great personality, very upbeat, friendly, and professional. She did a great job posing us; it really doesn’t even look like we’re posing. Our wedding was the same and she brought her upbeat energy, got everyone (yes my big whole family) to look into the camera when taking family photos, delivered amazing portraits, and was a fly on the wall when things were happening. She is always watching the crowds for exciting things to happen and we saw this over and over again in our gallery. And— we’ve had several shoots with her since then, and we don’t plan to look for anyone else.

Welcome to Taira Marie Photography, we are excited that you have found us! Take your time browsing around to learn a little bit about us and our style. We are here for you if you have any questions and are looking forward to connecting with you!

Deciding on a wedding photographer is not an easy task because you know these are once-in-a-lifetime memories to be captured, but choosing and working with Taira Marie Photography was nothing short of extraordinary. We discovered their Instagram through our Wedding venue, as they had worked together on some events and photoshoots, and I was immediately drawn to the photography style. It was completely serendipitous to find out that they had our wedding date available and hit it off with their team on our first meeting. Our package came with an engagement shoot, which gave us an opportunity to really get comfortable in front of the cameras, they turned out lovely and we realized how truly passionate Taira is about her job. The photography team worked with us to hit every "shot list" photo we wanted to get on our big day and captured the most beautiful details. Taira and Joey felt like family at our wedding and have been so good to us with their communication and professionalism. Our wedding album just arrived (hand-delivered too!) and it's amazing, I'll never forget how we felt that day because it's so wonderfully and thoroughly portrayed with their photography.

As soon as we met with Kate, we knew we wanted to choose her to do our wedding photos. She was highly communicative with us and when it came to the photo session, she and her husband Josh were so fun to work with. They are easy to talk to and are genuinely enthusiastic people. They make you feel comfortable in front of a camera and provide the much needed guidance and direction for how to pose and look your best self. Our wedding was affected by the pandemic and it was taking a huge toll on us but Kate and Josh were SUPER accommodating and worked with us on making our pandemic wedding a success. We couldn’t be more thankful for choosing such wonderful photographers who delivered not only phenomenal photos but phenomenal customer service.

We're Natasha and Brian! A husband and wife, PNW elopement photographer duo. When we're not getting slimed by our own slobbery dog Fern, or helping you plan your dream wedding day, you can probably find us alpine lake lounging, making a weird new kimchi flavor, or deep on the forestry roads in our (always dirty) Tacoma blasting some indie alt or rap (there's rarely an in between lol). We're your photographers, die-hard dog petters, and donut-eaters that are all about playful banter, real conversations, and no icky small talk.

For me and my now-husband Ryan, the importance of finding an excellent wedding photographer was unparalleled. We discovered Natasha and immediately were drawn to the nostalgic, film quality to her work. We love the way she captures moments that feel both so real and so dreamy at the same time. It’s an art! Additionally, correspondence with Natasha was always a pleasure. She was speedy in her responses, always answered any questions, and just extremely down-to-earth and easy going. Our introduction to working with Natasha came from our winter engagement session. We chose to do the shoot at home and around our neighborhood in Seattle. Though we were still nervous in front of the camera, Natasha chatted with us and helped us open up. The photos from this December day were cozy, comfortable, and felt completely like us! And finally the Big Day arrived! Natasha and Brian photographed our July 2023 wedding and the results were just perfect - more lovely than we could have dreamed. On top of that, we loved getting to hang out with them! They made our wedding day feel calmer, more relaxed, and allowed us to just be us. We highly recommend Natasha and Brian for all your engagement and wedding photography needs. They’re the best!
