It was originally built as a stucco home, in what was an area of parceled farms. Over time, the house was expanded and was eventually converted into a stone estate. The house fell into disrepair and in 1994, came into our guardianship. We have been working ever since to return it to its former glory. Stonehouse, with its arched windows, and open porches, would serve as a picturesque backdrop for any function. We have a luxurious indoor space that accommodates 70 guests. For weddings exceeding 70 guests your even takes place in a pristine Century Pole tent. *Stonehouse On The Hill requires you book one of our approved caterers for food and beverages for your event.*

The 571-acre Scott Farm, a The Landmark Trust USA property, is home to 130 varieties of ecologically-grown heirloom apples and other fine fruits, a seasonal Farm Market, and the Apple Barn Event Center. All 23 buildings on the property are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A popular wedding venue, the farm is surrounded by four authentically-restored historic year-round vacation rental properties accommodating up to 22 guests—one of which is Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha where he penned the Jungle Book. The Stone Trust Education Center, located in the 1862 Barn, showcases beautiful, unique dry-stone wall installations around the property. The Apple Barn accommodates up to 120 guests, has a commercial kitchen, three restrooms, one is wheelchair accessible. Overlooking the farm and mountains, a delightful spot for special occasions, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. Exchange vows in the Courtyard or by a pond overlooking the apple orchard and stonewalls.

Spanning over 200 acres Southwick's Zoo is New England's largest zoological experience. With several venues to choose from like our enchanting Deer Forest, Tented Pavilion overlooking the African Plains or the Daniel's Room with it's fire place adorned patio, you will be able to customize the perfect day for you and your guests. The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth-century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dance on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundred guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and couples can select from a list of approved caterers to create the wedding of their dreams.
