I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and much of that was thanks to our incredible photographer, Silvia. From our first meeting, her calm demeanor and positive outlook put us at ease. Silvia has a unique ability to blend into the background, capturing candid moments that truly reflect the joy and love of the day. Her calm presence was a soothing force during the hustle and bustle, making us feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Every photo she took is a testament to her talent and passion for her work. Silvia didn’t just take pictures; she told our love story through her lens, and for that, we are forever grateful. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our special day.

We were married within 3 months of our first date. “When you know, you know”, they say, and when we knew we wed. Something we bonded over early on was our love for traveling with cameras. What we continue to bond over: visiting as many countries as possible, making and consuming craft beer, sending real mail, reading the newspaper, meeting new people, and training/walking/cuddling our maniacal dog, Gatsby. After our San Diego courthouse-by-the-sea elopement, we settled in Brooklyn and turned our passion for photography into a business. Photography allows us to capture life's day-to-day moments, major milestones, and everything in between.

We got married at the City Clerk's Office in NYC, so Brian and Laurel were not only our photographers, they were our witnesses and only wedding guests. They were incredibly helpful and lots of fun to have along on our big day. They documented the entire process, then we spent a few hours taking photos around lower Manhattan. They understood our style and vibe right away, so we did a lot of simple poses with cool backgrounds. They didn't once ask us to peek lovingly around a tree, which we appreciated! The photos came back quickly as promised and were amazing. We loved all the options they provided. I would absolutely recommend them for a large wedding or a very small occasion like ours. They are total pros and really add to the wedding day experience.

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. You may even outwardly acknowledge it. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I highly recommend Corey to be your wedding photographer! He does such a beautiful job capturing the essence of a wedding. He captured the pure joy, love, and fun from our wedding. My husband and I and all of our friends and family said they couldn't stop smiling looking at the wedding photo gallery. It really felt like we were able to relive the wedding through his photographs. His candid, documentary style may not be the right fit for everyone, but it certainly was for us. We have photos that are both beautiful and so authentic to us, our wedding, and our friends and family. So many special small moments were caught by Corey and multiple guests said they didn't even realize Corey was there. He does such a good job of just blending into the wedding, but making sure to capture all of the most important moments. On top of that, he is just a super nice guy who we enjoyed spending time with. He was casual and made us feel comfortable. I also appreciated that he was willing to voice his opinions based on his expertise. He so thoughtfully gave us some physical photos during our wedding as a gift that were so sweet. He got our photos back within two weeks which was incredibly impressive and there were SO many photos. We can't stop looking at them. If you're looking for authentic, joyful photos, do yourself a favor and hire Corey!

Justin McCallum Photography

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200
  • Serves Frenchboro, ME

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
Justin was the first vendor we booked after choosing our venue, and we could not have made a better choice for our wedding. From our initial consultation meeting (over drinks at a low key bar) I knew that Justin was the photographer we needed. My husband and I both instantly felt comfortable with him which was incredibly important to us as people who are not particularly excited about having our pictures taken. Justin worked hard to ensure he knew our vision for the day, asked about any insecurities we had about being photographed, and made sure to find out how he could help us feel calm the day of. I had NO idea how important that last part would be until the day of when I was suddenly feeling like an ultra-stressed bridezilla. Every time I panicked about timing or something potentially going wrong Justin was a calm voice of reason, ensuring me everything was on track and working with our families to make sure everyone was where they needed to be. Whenever anyone asks what the best part of the wedding was, we tell them it was the 30 minutes we spent walking around our venue neighborhood with Justin. It was the calmest and happiest we felt all day. In addition to being a phenomanal person to work with, Justin’s work product is truly amazing. I don’t think of myself as particularly photogenic, but Justin made me feel like a model in our engagement and wedding photos. I don’t know how he did it, but he captured the exact vibe of our relationship and your wedding. Our families can’t stop sharing the photos, and I am always waiting for another excuse to share one. If you want a professional, hilarious, insanely talented photographer for your event you cannot go wrong with Justin.

I’m a storyteller. That’s what I’m here to do - document the story of one of your greatest celebrations. My work is heavily focused on the authentic, unplanned moments. My approach is observational and real, creating images that are genuine representations of you, those you love, and the space and moments you share. I create true-to-life images that will bring you back to some of your sweetest, most treasured moments for years to come. These images aren't just for you, after all - they're for the branches of your family tree that have yet to grow. For the generations to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kaitlin went above and beyond our expectations from the first moment we messaged her! We met with her over zoom to discuss what kind of wedding we were interested in and to gauge each others' personalities and we clicked instantly! She has been incredibly receptive to our ideas and responsive throughout the whole process as we near our wedding date and even spent an entire day running around Portland with my fiancé and I for our engagement shoot. The photo shoot was fun with little to no direction necessary and came out looking incredible while managing to incorporate all of our ideas for locations, outfits, and colors. Kaitlin consistently goes the extra mile and put 100% of her energy into all of our ideas! I will be recommending her to all of our friends in the future and can't wait to have her shooting us on our wedding day!

I love what I do. I found my way to professional photography in a roundabout way, having started my working career as a marine scientist and environmental educator in CA and then on Maui. After years immersed in the ocean and hundreds of hours spent underwater, I realized that I was happiest on days when I could adventure freely with a camera in hand. The drive to learn more and become a better photographer lead me back to school on the east coast, where I ended up finding a new dream career and a home and community that I love.

I am so happy I found Laura!!! Not only is she a rockstar photographer, but she is also an awesome person! The first element that sold me was that she asked questions… (what is your fiancés name, where are you from, do you have pets, etc.) AKA she is interested in knowing who you are. Photography is a form of art and it is a form of expression. Therefore, it is important to know and care about your subject. Next, she offered us an engagement session. We did not have time throughout the year, so we actually did it for fun a month or two before the wedding. This was vital, because we got to meet Laura and felt really comfortable w/ her! When we reached out she described herself as laid back, but organized. This is correct. She will ask of you all the necessary info she needs and then take it from there. Planning weddings can be stressful enough, but you should feel safe w/ Laura because she is extremely reliable and she has your back. She made us comfortable and confident. She doesn’t need much from you, so you are able to enjoy your wedding. It is crystal clear that she is passionate about what she does. She captured all the special moments of our day and I am so grateful to have found Laura!!!

Bonie Weddings is a wedding photography and videography company, dedicated to capturing those unscripted and genuine moments. From candid laughs and unplanned dance moves to even the cake mishaps (yes, it happens), We're there to preserve the authenticity and genuinely of your special day. Our team of professionals firmly believes that every couple should have the opportunity to capture the memories of their special day without breaking the bank.

Bonie Wedding was great to work with. From the start process, the communication was easy. Hannah was our lead photographer with Emily and Lactoya were our videographers, who were both great teams. I highly recommend using Bonie weddings for both photo and video, as the two teams worked together without any trouble. During the reception, we barely noticed their presence, yet every time we looked up they were there recording everything. It was so nice to know that your special day was captured from start to finish, without feeling overwhelming. We appreciated Hannah and Emily's directions for all the photos. The production team was great as well. Very responsive and easy to communicate. They make the entire process clear and concise, which is appreciated when the wedding planning process and day off can feel overwhelming. Our wedding was not even 2 weeks ago and we already received our video trailer, as well as some sneak peek pictures from Hannah via Dropbox. Hannah also did our engagement shoot and it was fun and easy. We loved how our pictures came out and are so eager to see the rest. Thank you Bonie!

Portland, ME

Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. Being in front of the camera isn’t my favorite thing either. I will be here to guide you and prompt you the whole way, I promise.

From start to finish Jenna made picking, planning, and working with a wedding photographer seem like the easiest part of our day. She took time to walk us through the plan for the whole event, made sure we got the every group shot we wanted, and didn't miss a candid photo all day or night. Her communication throughout was top notch and I never felt uncomfortable reaching out with random questions or requests. Not only did she make planning it easy, she felt like family by the end of the day. My biggest fear with having professional photos done was our photos looking forced or awkward (these are forever memories!) and Jenna did NOT disappoint! We now have the most amazing photos to look back on from the most amazing day. If you are contemplating hiring Jenna to document your day, I promise you wont be disappointed! She is the definition of talent, kindness and spunk, and we would hire her again in an instant. We HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone in the area who is looking for a wedding photographer!

If it weren’t for YOU, we wouldn’t be excited about our job. Whether you are professionals passionate about your careers, are in the 4k White Mountain club, found love later in life, or can’t be defined by traditional labels, it’s YOU that makes “Kate & Keith Photography.” From our first meeting, we’ll be establishing a vibe. If we can’t conceive of future inside jokes, then we’re happy to make recommendations to some friends who may align. But if we get carried away by conversations of favorite hikes, or where you grew up, then you can bet we’ll be showing up on wedding day with all the excitement shared by your inner circle.

2020 was a wild time to have a wedding but we are so glad that we decided to downsize and still go for it and were so thrilled that Kate & Keith were all in too! They were extraordinary! It is impossible to say enough good things about their work. We were so comfortable working with them and the photos are spectacular! From sunrise engagement pics to capturing the joy of the day, they were game for everything and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the end result. We feel so fortunate to have had Kate and Keith be a part of our experience and to capture our day. Thinking about who to book as your photographer(s)? You're making the right decision with Kate & Keith!

Anna Elisabeth Photography

I specialize in capturing authentic moments and genuine emotions through a storytelling + editorial style approach - I celebrate the beauty of moments that sing, people who dance, and the essence of love. I can promise every shot will tell a tale that lingers in the heart! I cannot wait to tell your story!!

My newly minted husband and I were over the moon from the initial contact with Anna Elisabeth. She is an excellent listener with a superb sense of capturing our wishes in her photographs. We had an unusual experience in that we wanted to capture both of our faith traditions on different days and different geographical areas in the same state. Anna Elisabeth professionally and respectfully photographically savored these traditions beautifully with her photographic gift. She was present and her presence was professionally and discretely demonstrated. Her keen sense of recording precious moments was one of storybooks.. from having the pictures of the bride's mother place, her once veil (when the mother was married 57 years ago) to having the groom's mother putting a family heirloom bracelet on to capturing the special wink given by the groom when he first saw the bride walking down the aisle with her father. All these moments were special at the time and Anna Elisabeth captured them beautifully and discretely. Communication is very important to us, and Anna Elisabeth was professional, prompt and demonstrated honest integrity throughout the entire process. We are providing her a 5 star rating but she is off the charts and anyone who uses her will understand why she should be rated a 10!

On our big day, Jenni rolled with the punches when bad weather forced us to change plans last minute. She kept us calm with her reassuring demeanor, all while snapping gorgeous photos that she delivered many of the very next day. We were thrilled to relive moments from our wedding as soon as possible thanks to Jenni's quick turnaround. We got married at the Publick House in Sturbridge, MA in June 2024, and we had such a great experience! The place is made up of a few buildings- my (now) husband was getting ready in one building and I in another. Tony was great with communication; he kept me posted about when he was on his way, when he got to my husband's room, and when he was coming to my room. He was also quick to send sneak peak pics! We told him we didn't like posed pictures, we only wanted a few with our family and wedding party, and then to take the rest of us just being us. The pictures were great! We got the posed photos we wanted, and he was great about my idea of the wedding party being chased by a blow-up dinosaur (seriously)! The rest of the photos were wonderful, just all of us having a good time; he captured them so well! He was very professional and he made the time doing the posed pictures fun. I would DEFINITELY recommend Tony for your event!

Hi! I'm Chrissy. I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings and meet tons of awesome couples since 2014. I'm based in Boston, MA but I'm always more than happy to travel anywhere your adventure takes you. My work has brought me as far as Tokyo and I'm so ready to explore more new places! In my down time I love to surf, paint, go to concerts, and watch horror movies. I'm full of useless astrology facts and I always have extra snacks with me.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I are so lucky that we found Chrissy as our photographer. We wanted someone who would bring a unique approach to taking photos and be able to capture special moments that would happen during our wedding, both big and small. Chrissy checks the boxes for both. Not only is she extremely talented, but she also has an amazing eye for detail. She is also very easy to work with, and makes us both feel comfortable to be ourselves. I will admit I was a little nervous before our engagement photoshoot, but after meeting Chrissy, I immediately felt at ease and had so much fun. She also photographed our revised "micro-wedding" in our backyard last October, and was very flexible and accommodating in changing plans. We're looking forward to having her capture our bigger wedding once this pandemic is over, because we know the quality she delivers every time and she is just such a pleasure to work with. We can't recommend her enough!

Chris Arson Photography

Melrose, MA

Hey! I'm Chris. I've been a full time Wedding Photographer for 10 years now, done the Alaska Heli Elopements, done the Mexico resort weddings, done all the things in between. I've won some awards. Blah blah blah. I'VE DONE ALL THE THINGS.

Chris was such a joy to work with! From our very first meeting before even hiring him, he really spent the time to talk through what our vision was and how we wanted our day to be captured. He was a great support every step of the way for planning as well as on the big day! In addition to being a great listener, Chris has great suggestions on how to plan for photos based on his extensive experience (angles, timing, group shots). Our wedding was a large one, so Chris hired a fantastic second lead photographer and several other photographers throughout the day so our event was seamlessly captured! Another important note - all of our family and other vendors (makeup artists, planners, etc) commented on how great it was to work with Chris, and were excited to work with him on future events - I think this is such an important quality for a photographer, and definitely appreciated how professional and friendly Chris was with EVERYONE! He kept the day moving as it should and captured some unbelievable shots that I revisit on probably a daily basis :) I honestly cannot recommend Chris enough - from his genuine care and support for you through the planning and important day, to the absolutely stunning product he delivers. Thank you Chris for everything!!

Maddness Photography, Llc

Largo, FL

Our team prides ourselves on being professional third-wheels on your wedding day. We are perfect for those who thrive on love and connection, and are looking for bold and purposeful imagery. We have 2 wedding associates, 2 family photographers, and a husband and wife videography team

Maddy/Maddness Photography was AMAZING from start to finish. I have been working with her for about 9 months for my engagement and wedding photos. She was quick to respond with any questions via email or text. Her website was super easy to use and was incredibly helpful in keeping all the "paperwork" together in one place. She even let me change in her car. She is super down to earth. Her and her team are incredibly talented at what they do. During both shoots, she made Andy and I feel completely comfortable, which I think helped create more natural looking photos. Andy doesn't think he photographs well, but she somehow pulled off fantastic shots. She has an eye for special moments and interprets them differently for each client, which I love. She is a true artist, in that it's not "cookie cutter" in any way, but still felt polished and extremely professional. Our wedding went on without a hitch, she was polite, engaging and on time. I would recommend Maddy to ANYONE looking to document their special event, I know I will be back for sure when we have kids for family portraits <3.

My name is Angie and I want to capture your story. My photography is honest and reflects your awesome, quirky and unique personalities. Prepare to experience an authentic and artistic reflection of your wedding, from its quiet, tender moments to its loud joyous ones. My images show the genuine connections between you and your closest friends and family.

Awarded Best of Zola
As much as Angie's photos speak for themselves, I've got a word or two to say myself: This photographer is THE ONE to capture your big day! We were initially drawn to the natural yet electric feel of Angie's work. The joy of her subjects feels very real -- because it is. Angie is there to capture real joy and real beauty and real love, not to force it through posing or a trick of the light. Her passion is for people and for love itself, and that's what makes her work second to none! Like I wrote above: these stunning shots very much speak for themselves (and they say "joy," "love," "BLISS!" and everything else we experienced on our wedding day) But Angie's talent isn't the only reason to hire her. She is a kind professional with a calming presence and a "sixth sense" for when & where to capture the perfect shot. She's got an artist's eye, and sought out unique locations & lighting to make the most out of our photoshoot around the MASS MoCA campus. (Check out that silhouette of our profiles! A spontaneous idea of hers ;) ) While we were still in the planning stage, Angie took the time to regularly check in with us and prepare. Whenever we were on the phone with her, it felt like she was in the room with us! Her friendliness and passion came through in our conversations, and we felt relieved knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about how we might "get along" with our photographer on our wedding day. Once Angie arrived on the day-of, everything felt natural. Throughout the day & evening, we never felt "overwhelmed" by her presence, yet she was always there to snap the most animated moments. And not just our most animated moments -- the photos of our guests are so charged with emotion, we can hear & feel them! Our favorite part of going through our wedding album has been seeing the joy on our guests' faces, all captured by Angie. Whenever we want to relive that night -- or live a new part of it that we didn't get to see -- our experience and all of our guests' unique experiences are just a few clicks away. I knew her photos would be beautiful, but I didn't anticipate this....totally immersive quality. Each shot is like a portal straight back to the moment it captures. These photos are ALIVE, and we are so grateful! Thank you, Angie, for all of the perfect lil picture-portals 333

Brett Alison Photography

Newton, NH

I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer, who specializes in candid, natural wedding photography, serving all of New England for over fifteen years. Almost all of my couples come to me saying that they feel weird in front of the camera and worried about how their photos will turn out. But of course they want those gorgeous, Pinterest-worthy shots! My laid-back attitude will help put you at ease, helping your true personalities shine through (with simple and fun guidance for the posed photos). And my quiet and calm nature makes it easy for me to blend into the background, to get tons of candid photos that you will make you laugh and cry.

Awarded Best of Zola
I would highly recommend for your most important occasions! We found about Brett through our wedding planner, and are so happy to have found her. Brett did our wedding photos for both our small ceremony in 2020 and then again at our reception in 2021. The photos from both events were absolutely stunning — she captured many candid shots that truly captured our emotions, and helped position us to ensure the photos had creative and beautiful backdrops. Although we took thousands of photos, the experience was quite organic / natural — Brett has a calming personality and goes with the flow of the day. In addition to the photography itself, we were very impressed by Brett’s professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility; we had to move our wedding by 13 months due to the pandemic, and Brett was completely understanding and flexible. She also sent us the photos afterwards both through a portal and on a USB. Thanks Brett for helping to capture our special day!

Where do I begin and how could I ever Capture (pun intended) the love I have for Becca and her work. Becca is the kind of photographer you meet and instantly you have a new friend. She is incredibly professional, but laid back and always makes sure you feel comfortable. As someone who had never had professional pictures done, we didn’t know what to expect. I know personally I was afraid of feeling awkward or that it would look like I was meant to be in an 80’s glamor shot. When I tell you it was so much fun, and Becca’s creativity and ability to just let you be you and capture the raw natural moments with your significant other are unmatched. She gives you great prompts which make you laugh and feel silly, and that’s where the magic happens, when you are blissfully unaware that she is capturing you and your loved one laughing, which turns into the pictures that bring tears to your eyes. Becca takes the time to get to know you, your style, and the vibe of the wedding. She is easy-going and so helpful when it comes to the timeline. She was able to weigh in and help us weigh the pro’s and con’s and looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. What I will suggest is booking with Becca, and spending the money on the second photographer (if it’s within your budget). Having a second shooter made pictures go so smoothly we had some extra time for fun portraits and they’re some of my favorite pictures. Huge thank you to Becca for capturing such beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

We are passionate about photographing kind-hearted people who are unapologetically themselves, and creating a safe and beautiful space in the wedding world for LGBTQ+ folx. Our favorite people to work with believe in giving back to their communities, that black lives always matter, that climate change is you know...real, and choose to embrace their own unique quirks and talents.

When you elope in the middle of a pandemic, it matters all the more that you love your photographer--since they'll be the only other person at your wedding. :) And in short, we couldn't be happier that ours was Shawnee. She has such a gift and a love for the work she does—and it shows. We knew she was the right person from the moment we met on Zoom--she is warm and kind, asked all the right questions, and instantly put us at ease. My partner and I eloped at the end of October 2020 in DC, just before the election. It was a whirlwind moment for so many reasons, especially as a queer couple. And it mattered to us that the person who captured those treasured memories, really understood what that moment meant to us. Everyone who sees our photos marvels at how wonderful they are—and no doubt we look great, but Shawnee’s warmth and direction and stellar eye really made all the difference. Vibing with your photographer matters—we’re so grateful to have found one with such grace and as much love for her art as Shawnee. <3

Hi there! We're a husband and wife photography team that loves capturing genuine emotion and real moments at your wedding. We believe that there's magic in everything, and our goal as your storytellers is to capture that magic in a way that's honest and true to who you are. We focus on the unique elements that tell the tale of your day, so your final wedding gallery has a timeless storybook feel.

From our first phone call with Jaime & Eddie, we knew they were the perfect couple to capture our big day. They were professional & fun, willing to answer every single question & had the portfolio and expertise we were searching for. Throughout planning, they continue to be a standout vendor. We kept in touch on social media in the early days & Jaime answered every single email quickly and with the exact replies we needed. She is so detailed & caring - I even asked her opinion when choosing between two bridesmaid dress colors and she consulted as a friend and professional. Engagement pictures were another proven point we made the right choice, the photos are unbelievably beautiful but the shoot was so fun! They let us incorporate our dog Ozzie and totally catered to him lol. They achieved our exact vision and over delivered! As the wedding grew closer & planning was getting more detailed, Jaime again, was a rockstar. We had a call to nail down timelines and ensure no detail was missed. The weekend of the wedding, the forecast was calling for thunderstorms and Jaime was allll over the weather, adjusting locations and times as needed so we weren’t scrambling on wedding day. The weather was ultimately on our side and we never saw a rain drop, but I can’t imagine dealing with those unknowns and changes by myself. Wedding day came & they were as stellar as expected! It’s true when they say you’re with your photographers for most of the day, so I am so thankful we genuinely enjoyed spending our day with them. Jaime & Eddie were both thoughtful, kind, creative, flexible, and FUN. We got so many guest compliments about how cool they were. We along with our family could look at these photos for hours. It is so fun reliving that day & we honestly couldn’t have made a better choice than Magic Arrow Photography.
