I’m a storyteller. That’s what I’m here to do - document the story of one of your greatest celebrations. My work is heavily focused on the authentic, unplanned moments. My approach is observational and real, creating images that are genuine representations of you, those you love, and the space and moments you share. I create true-to-life images that will bring you back to some of your sweetest, most treasured moments for years to come. These images aren't just for you, after all - they're for the branches of your family tree that have yet to grow. For the generations to come.

I'm people-centric which means that, on your wedding day, I'm focusing on you and your guests and the real moments you're sharing together. P.S. I used to be a middle school teacher, which should tell you a few things: 1. I thrive in awkward situations (uh, hi, middle school) 2. I'm compassionate and empathetic 3. I have a great sense of humor 4. I'm very flexible when it comes to going with the flow, last minute adjustments and changes.

Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.

My husband and I hired Kaitlin to photograph our elopement in Maine in October of 2023. We were coming from Ohio and did not quite have the details laid out yet. She was incredibly flexible and extremely helpful during our wedding day and found some amazing spots for some truly amazing pictures. Our wedding day just really would not have been the same without her.

My husband and I could not recommend a better photographer for whatever occasion you hope to document! Kaitlin had wonderful ideas of locations to use and fun “activities“ to capture before our two minute elopement at city hall! It felt natural to spend two hours together, and the photos she took are such beautiful mementos we will cherish forever. Thank you, Kaitlin!!

We loved working with Kaitlin for our wedding! She was enthusiastic about all of the unique elements of our wedding and did a great job capturing them over the course of the event. She was particularly helpful structuring and facilitating family portraits -- many, many family members -- and our friends and family members responded really well to her direction. We made a couple of last minute changes to where we wanted to do portrait sessions and she was flexible and helpful about it. We recommend her highly!
