We were married within 3 months of our first date. “When you know, you know”, they say, and when we knew we wed. Something we bonded over early on was our love for traveling with cameras. What we continue to bond over: visiting as many countries as possible, making and consuming craft beer, sending real mail, reading the newspaper, meeting new people, and training/walking/cuddling our maniacal dog, Gatsby. After our San Diego courthouse-by-the-sea elopement, we settled in Brooklyn and turned our passion for photography into a business. Photography allows us to capture life's day-to-day moments, major milestones, and everything in between.

Summer always brought us to Mount Desert Island for Acadia hiking and biking and camping and kayaking, and in July 2020 we realized we wanted to stay. We were fortunate enough to relocate to MDI with our growing family of 4 (plus Gatsby!) We love how the small seemingly insignificant moments can hold so much beauty when we stop and look at them closely. We look forward to finding and illuminating those moments with you and your loved ones.

Stunning Photos of Our Acadia Elopement

Hiring Aquadro Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Laurel and Brian were responsive, organized, and an absolute joy to work with. From start to finish, they exceeded all our expectations. Laurel went above and beyond by helping us choose the perfect ceremony location in Acadia National Park. She guided us to a breathtaking spot where we exchanged vows amidst majestic cliffs and the soothing sounds of crashing ocean waves. Throughout the day, she led us to various stunning locations within the park, including the serene beauty of Eagle Lake and the lush greenery of forest trails. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility of Acadia, and now we have photos that beautifully capture every moment. Laurel also assisted us in creating a solid rain plan, which thankfully we didn't need, alleviating any weather-related stress. We were thrilled to receive sneak peek photos within a day of our wedding, and the full gallery was delivered so quickly. The photos are absolutely stunning, capturing not only the scenic beauty but also the genuine joy and love shared among us and our families. There were so many thoughtful touches, too many to list in one review. I truly cannot recommend Aquadro Photography highly enough. Laurel and Brian captured our wedding ceremony in Acadia National Park perfectly and were wonderful to work with. They made sure to meet with us prior to our wedding day to pick a location for the ceremony and photos afterwards. They knew the area so well and were professional, kind and helpful during the entire process. We would 100% recommend Aquadro Photography!

We got married at the City Clerk's Office in NYC, so Brian and Laurel were not only our photographers, they were our witnesses and only wedding guests. They were incredibly helpful and lots of fun to have along on our big day. They documented the entire process, then we spent a few hours taking photos around lower Manhattan. They understood our style and vibe right away, so we did a lot of simple poses with cool backgrounds. They didn't once ask us to peek lovingly around a tree, which we appreciated! The photos came back quickly as promised and were amazing. We loved all the options they provided. I would absolutely recommend them for a large wedding or a very small occasion like ours. They are total pros and really add to the wedding day experience.

Brian and Laurel photographed our wedding and were incredible! Really great communicators leading up to the big day, so patient on the day of, and great at corralling unwieldy family members. I really didn't want to miss the entire cocktail hour for family photos and they made it move super quickly. So many commented on how lovely they were. We got our photos back so much faster than anyone else I know and they are BEAUTIFUL! THANKS!!!
