Owner/ Makeup Artist

Makeup by Nicole was established in 2007. Nicole Tooze, owner/makeup artist, started at Family Christian Center working in the makeup ministry. From there, she developed a love and passion for makeup. In 2017, Nicole officially became a Certified International Makeup Artist. Nicole's had great opportunities to work with amazing people, local organizations, film productions, Arab World Fest, Thyck Troupe Chicago, Live Out Loud Charity and even R&B singer Tweet. In 2018, Nicole was honored with the "Makeup Artist of the Year" Award through the LOLC organization. She not only offers but guarantees her clients the best of her services each time.

I believe that my personality and quality of work sets me apart. I love to meet and talk to new people. Being in the beauty industry, this is something of an attribute to possess. I love learning about each person and their stories. Having a great laugh or even just listening to music. Not only do I love to learn about them as a person, but also I love to learn and understand what each bride is looking to achieve on their special day.

    Makeup by Nicole was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding! From the initial consultation to the day-of, their communication was amazing - they were responsive, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. The quality of their work was truly beautiful, long-lasting, and professional. During my trial and on my wedding day, my makeup stayed flawless through everything. Nicole clearly knows exactly what she's doing and is so talented at her craft. On top of that, her wonderful personality was such a bonus and made the experience even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend Makeup by Nicole highly enough - they played a huge role in making me feel my absolute best on my special day!

    Nicole was amazing!! She cared about how I felt about my face and made me feel like I could tell her exactly how I felt about each step of make up!! She is awesome!! And remember to feed/caffeinate the people working on you!!! They deserve it!!

    Nicole did a great job doing our makeup for my wedding. She is easy to talk to and really knows what she’s doing, she caters to your personal wants really well and is able to help you decide between different looks if you’re struggling to pick something out. I really appreciated her help with my mom and bridesmaid.

    Nicole was such a pleasure to work with! She made me feel so beautiful for my engagement photos and on my wedding day! She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Tears were streaming on my wedding day and no matter what she stopped to fix my makeup! Nicole is so friendly, easy to communicate with and made all of my bridesmaids and family feel so comfortable! I will always recommend Nicole!!
