An Unforgettable Experience at The Hawthorne Hotel We had the most wonderful experience hosting our rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, and farewell brunch at The Hawthorne Hotel, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice! From start to finish, every aspect of the service, food, and ambiance was absolutely perfect. The hotel’s vintage charm was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding weekend, and it provided the perfect setting for all of our events. The food was a highlight of our weekend. At the rehearsal dinner, we had the Chicken Milanese entrée, which was a huge hit with our guests. So many people mentioned how much they loved it, and the entire meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The service throughout all of our events was impeccable, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. One of the things we loved most about the Hawthorne Hotel was how perfectly it fit our aesthetic for the wedding weekend. The vintage character of the hotel gave everything a timeless, elegant feel, and it was the ideal backdrop for our celebrations, even though our wedding and reception were off-site. We absolutely adored the hotel’s library space, which hosted our farewell brunch. The cozy, intimate atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and meaningful gathering with our closest family and friends. The space was beautifully decorated, and it truly set the tone for a lovely, laid-back morning after the big day. Our hotel suite was equally impressive. It was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind after a busy weekend. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both enjoyed a restful night’s sleep. It was a great retreat for us during such a busy time and offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A huge thank you to our amazing events coordinator, Beth Pasquarello. Beth was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, honest, and caring. We never felt out of the loop, and she was always there to offer advice and solutions. One great example of her attention to detail was when she helped us secure a microphone for the rehearsal dinner, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and personal touch made the entire experience so much easier and stress-free. There is truly no where like Danversport! We got married there in Sept 2023 and our expectations were blown away. The entire day ran SO smoothly. You really do not need a wedding planner at Danversport because they manage EVERYTHING!! The food was fantastic, the space was stunning and they kept the day on track! Would 10/10 recommend!!!

Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. Hotel Providence was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. I loved moving from room to room, having a dance floor away from space for folks to have coffee and dessert, and to be able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. We could not have been more happy. There has been a recent change in events personnel, which led to some miscommunications and a few things not happening as expected. While nothing that altered any piece of our enjoyment, I would recommend couples who are more anxious or type A to hire a day/month of coordinator to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The staff at HP are five-star, and they handled every questions, concern, issue, and guest with grace and professionalism. I thought it was well-priced., and for us, having a venue that "does it all" was super important.

Just a Girl Events had the pleasure of working here for a small wedding. The venue is amazing! With 3 onsite areas that would be considered suites it is perfect to host your wedding party from the evening before to the day after. The studio space itself is beautiful with gabled ceilings and a beautiful floor with a brick inlay that is of the original design. The outdoor spacing can host a small area for cocktails with great ambiance or just a courtyard to hang out. My husband and I got married at Crestwood April 2024 and from the moment I met the wedding coordinator Melany and toured Crestwood for the first time I knew I would be getting married there. The venue is beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly. (Plus my husband was happy to be getting married on a golf course) During the planning process Melany was available and very responsive when I had any questions. She was also open and honest about the wedding planning process and I always felt like I was just chatting with a friend through the year leading up to the wedding. On the day of the staff was very attentive to our needs in the bridal suite and were readily available with any questions or logistics I needed to sort out. I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience with Crestwood and if I could I would re-live the day again exactly how it was which was perfection! Thank you Crestwood for making our day a dream come true!

Event planning is not my forte in the best of times, but when you throw in the added inconvenience that my husband and I live in Europe — I knew it was going to take a miracle to pull off this wedding. Luckily, Willowdale and my amazing coordinator, Alli, were that miracle. Not only is Willowdale a stunning and completely unique venue 365 days of the year, it was a perfect match for our tricky theme: Great Gatsby (my husband’s theme) meets Dark Fairytale (my theme). What really took Willowdale to the next level in my book was their ability to take the stress out of wedding planning so you can actually enjoy this special time in your life. Special shoutout to my coordinator, Alli, who is like a wedding fairy godmother, Type A project manager, and supportive big sister all rolled into one. You name it, she did it: taking our jumble of decor and turning it into a fancy fairyland, helping me trim my boombas so they didn’t peak out of my neckline, wrangling family members, making sure my husband and I had enough to eat and drink, and packing up all our wedding desserts at the end of the night. Our guests can’t stop raving about our wedding and frankly, neither can we. Willowdale is the best in the biz, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

From the moment we found Black Swan Country Club on Zola, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to have our big day. After touring and getting to know Donna, we were even more certain and booked a few days later. The experience was so smooth, the team are EXPERTS at putting on weddings and ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. As the bride, I of course wanted to micro-manage everything but I was able to relax knowing that Donna had it under control. We can honestly say we have no regrets from our wedding day, and that everything went according to plan. We were both able to lean back and enjoy the day (and even the planning process)!! We are so grateful to Black Swan Country Club and could not recommend them and their team enough. We also just received our wedding photos and they came out STUNNING with all of the scenery and ambience Black Swan offers in their space :)

Long Hill was a dream, it felt like a private fairy garden. Gorgeous location and the perfect size for us to take photos privately and guests to explore but not feel too far away (for wrangling from cocktail hour to dinner for example). The Long Hill staff were super communicative and responsive, sometimes a little stressful to work with as it felt like there were a number of restrictions but this really translated to a very stream-lined and well-organized wedding day as they brought up any potential issues early and then on the actual day they were super, super supportive and great to work with. They do have a list of 5 set caterers you need to work with, we were given an exception because of a dietary restriction my in-laws have (need to pay a 1000 fee), but this was tricky as Long Hill expects caterers to take on much more than just food. You'll also want to rent a dance floor (700 in the area) as the under tent area is brick. We had 115 of us total with buffet & dance floor, it was cozy & lovely but any more than 120 would feel tight to me. We were able to have a ceremony for an extra 1000 and then the reception was 5,200 for 5-10 on a Friday. In addition to the gorgeous gardens and beautiful cocktail area off the porch, we could take photos inside which was really lovely and a great break from the heat (our wedding day was 85 and VERY humid). Felt very professionally run and they worked well with my dear friend who was our day-of-coordinator and we just feel extremely grateful to have such a gorgeous location!

We booked Hyland Orchard for our 9.27.24 wedding and it was simply the best decision we made! This venue is absolutely stunning and amazing to work with! If you’re looking to book here and have the option to hire Doe, DO IT! She was my go to person with wedding planning and made the process way easier! We also hired her for her beautiful rental decor & florals! She absolutely killed it and it could not have turned out better. Everyone loved the florals & decor! My bouquet & the bridesmaids were breathtaking and she nailed all my inspo I sent her! She did our arbor also and it was stunning!! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have! She made sure everything went smoothly and we had the best day getting married on the hilltop overlooking the orchard!! 10000/000 recommend having your wedding at Hyland Orchard and hiring Doe! It’s the perfect rustic orchard wedding!! Thank you Doe for everything you did for Bryce and I- we appreciate it more than you know!!

We discovered this venue through Zola and fell in love with it immediately from the very first look online. Right away, we knew it felt like the perfect place for our wedding day! We scheduled a tour on January 29, 2023, and brought our parents along because we wanted to see if they liked it as much as we did. Seeing the venue in person, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Moira showed us every detail of the property, including the Barn and the Winthrop Room (the two reception spaces), the Alpheus Room (indoor ceremony space), the patio, and the beautiful lawn where we could take family, wedding party, and bride-and-groom photos. By the end of the tour, we knew this was the one, and we officially booked our wedding for October 26, 2024. Throughout the planning process, the venue staff’s professionalism and experience stood out. Moira was able to answer any and all questions we had about any aspect of the wedding from the dimensions of the arbor in the Alpheus room to special meal accommodations for a guest. Also, we initially planned our ceremony for 5 PM but realized that with our late-October date, we wouldn’t have enough daylight for formal photos after the ceremony. We talked to Moira, and we were able to adjust the timeline, pushing the ceremony earlier so we could capture outdoor photos before sunset. On the big day, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was a highlight, with our guests raving about all of the food, which included filet of beef, grilled salmon, vegetable lasagna, and chicken tenders for all the kids (or kids at heart). The venue also ensured that we had some food to eat during the photo session during cocktail hour to make sure that we were happy and not hangry while taking pictures! Because of the earlier ceremony time, we were able to utilize the gazebo on the property for some formal photos and a first look with Kayla and her dad before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, we took the remaining photos out on the lawn with the stunning fall colors as a backdrop. Overall, The Barn at Wight Farm supported us in every way and did everything necessary to give us the wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend it more!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

Tonight I was blown away! I have been a full time wedding DJ for 18 years. My company, Cape Tunes, hosts about 250 weddings every season. I personally DJ about 85 weddings a season. There’s a new venue in Derry, NH called Hyla Brook Estate that opened in October 2024. Sadly, many venues treat vendors trash. Hyla Brook Estate was the complete opposite of what a vendor expects. I won’t mention how amazingly beautiful the venue is, I’m sure plenty of couples will review this aspect. I have to speak from a vendors point of view. A few days prior to the wedding, I got the “I’m your coordinator email, here are our policies”. I walked into the venue to clarify where to unload and was told “whatever works for you”. You mean I don’t have to trek through a kitchen then park a mile away?!?! There were two coordinators named Ashley who were extremely nice. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kim. Wow, amazing business person with an awesome vision! Some highlights … * Easy load in * Dedicated WiFi for DJs only! * No vendor chicken!!! * Vendors can eat when they want! * Apps and dessert? YUP! They won’t chop your hand off like other venues! SIT DOWN FOR THIS ONE … There is a vendor lounge! With a stocked fridge and snacks!!! I felt compelled to post this for all vendors lucky enough to work at this new property. A note to couples … happy vendors make your day rock a little more
