Sugar Lake Lodge is a 135 acre estate with a seven acre private lake surrounded by Lake County Metro Parks. It features a gorgeous 6,700 square foot lodge & event center with an 1,800 square ft. private suite fully equipped with kitchen, fire place, and elegant bathroom all with a slight rustic feel. There is also a steam room for guests to unwind and enjoy. In addition, there is a lakefront event center with dual inside and outside fireplaces, and accommodations. Chauncey and Cleopatra Case settled in Hudson in 1814 and the Case Barlow Farm was a family run farm until 1995. We are a nonprofit organization focused on preserving the farm and engaging the community to learn about and enjoy the farm. Our venue consists of 4.2 acre grounds and a large "Big Red" restored bank barn. We've installed a beautiful new floor, modern restrooms and a catering area. The farmhouse was built in 1831 and is available for the bridal party to use prior to the event. 100 gold Chiavari chairs with cushions and 15 5 foot round tables are include in the rental fee. We are building a 5' wide brick walkway up the the barn entrance with a patio and firepit for a great outdoor experience. Our Gardens, Orchard and outbuildings present great photo opportunities.
