The Ballroom at Park Lane is a luxury banquet hall in the Cleveland, Ohio area. This upscale venue features iconic columns and a ornate crown molding for an elegant wedding celebration. Couples will find this ballroom eight minutes from the Agora Theater & Ballroom, near Case Western Reserve University. This structure was originally built in 1923. It opened as a luxury hotel and speakeasy for the elite. It changed with the times and, in the 1960s, served as a concert venue that hosted the likes of Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie. Established in 1969, the 50-acre parcel in Brunswick with nothing more than an old barn and a dream. The barn, originally built in 1869, became the foundation for a Ski Lodge, but would ultimately become the event center that it is today. Although many updates and renovations have taken place over the last 50 years the original barn remains intact, and its beams are still visible in the hall. Over the years Skyview Lodge has held countless events. The building was renovated again in 2001 to expand its capacity and continue building upon the success of the hall rentals. In 1945 a hard-working farmer, Thomas Hricovec had a vision to cater to families with a welcoming atmosphere. His wife, Mary, stood by him and dedicated her time to help him in their journey. The two worked together along with family & friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding in the fall of 1959. Thomas & Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. Now, third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales, along with our team, integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices.
