Hale Farm & Village

The focal point of the mid-19th century village on the East Side of Hale Farm & Village is the Meetinghouse. Holding up to 170 guests, this quintessential structure is the perfect setting for a picturesque little white chapel wedding ceremony. The meetinghouse features heat, electricity, a basement with restrooms and other modern amenities, and a balcony that a string quartet or photographer can utilize to enhance your special day. Making your event memorable is important to us; decorations are permitted as long as no tacks, nails, staples, or tape are used.

Nestled in the scenic Cuyahoga Valley, the Gatehouse at Hale Farm & Village is the perfect location for a unique wedding or celebration. This air-conditioned and heated location offers a one-of-a-kind, practical setting with dramatic views of the historic Hale Farm. The Gatehouse can accommodate a seated dinner and includes a lovely stone patio perfect for cocktails or a simple ceremony. Not to mention, an evening bonfire can be had just off the lovely stone patio & veranda around back where a breathtaking view of the West Side of the farm can be viewed.

Up on a hill behind the Meetinghouse sits the open-air Carriage Pavilion. This rustic structure overlooking the historic village on the East Side of Hale Farm is a charming setting for a casual celebration or outdoor reception. The Carriage Pavilion is enclosed on three sides with two restrooms, electricity, and features a front yard that offers space for tents, games, a bonfire, or even an outdoor dance floor. The Carriage Pavilion can seat up to 120 guests with the wooden picnic tables & benches provided, or up to 150 guests if chairs are rented in (dance floor space included).

Tucked back in the woods for a more intimate event site is the Carriage Manufactory. This vintage, 2-story red barn is the perfect setting for a casual, one-of-a-kind cocktail hour, company retreat, or even a smaller ceremony & reception. Featuring a collection of antique carriages & vehicles on the first floor, the Carriage Manufactory can seat up to 75 guests on the second floor with a wide wooden balcony overlooking the West Side of the farm.

A short walk from the Gatehouse, the original Hale apple orchard combines the beauty of arching apple trees in the shade of the 1800s historic home and barn with the sprawling drama of the north pasture as the backdrop.
