Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Curtis Hall is surrounded by a 45-acre arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect for New York City’s Central Park. The “hall” is the original music ballroom of the 1893 Cyrus Curtis estate, "Lyndon". The capacity for dining and dancing is 200. The Felt Factory by Romano's has transformed our 1848 building in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia to an Industrial & Chic Event Venue with three distinctly different spaces. Constructed in 1932, this vintage barn oversees 12+ acres of native grasslands – a rich habitat for wildflowers, birds and butterflies – and a historic farmhouse built in the 1750s by a second-generation Quaker farmer. The property is also home to Pinelands Preservation Alliance, whose mission is to protect the natural resources, history and culture of this unique region. In 2017, the Alliance transformed the barn into a great gathering place. The recently completed renovation brings contemporary comfort and energy efficiency to a setting that still retains its authentic character. Mercer family’s ancestral estate in Perthshire, Scotland, and modeled after the Compton Wynyates in Warwickshire, England, Aldie Mansion stands on more than 10 acres of carefully tended grounds. While this early 20th-Century estate’s period charm adds to the character of any special event, the restored mansion offers the space and amenities of a more contemporary venue. Aldie Mansion is home to Heritage Conservancy, a non-profit membership organization whose mission is to protect our natural and historic heritage.
