About this venue

The Felt Factory by Romano's has transformed our 1848 building in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia to an Industrial & Chic Event Venue with three distinctly different spaces. The Manor Ballroom, the Mill Ballroom and our smaller Capri Room. Total Venue space of 45000 square feet. The Felt Factory was carved from the walls and halls of the old Philadelphia Felt Mill, where the sounds of machinery kept the local neighborhood busy by day, and lulled them to sleep at night. Today the building lives again with a cast of dedicated professionals. The joyous noises that you hear are of music, laughter and celebrations of family, friends and the community. An industrial venue that is known for its commitment to quality, integrity, and service has grown into one of Philadelphia’s premier caterers.

The Manor Hall is grand, elegant, and spacious, with a high wood beam ceiling, drapery accents, large expansive ballroom dance floor, and a unique balcony cocktail area. It is also handicap accessible. The Manor Hall accommodates 350 guests for a corporate function, and 375 for social functions.

The Mill

Experience Vintage Love Affairs

With its working fireplace, natural brick and stone wall decor, and rustic but graceful chandeliers, The Mill Room is cozy inviting, and warm. It features a large ballroom dance floor, separate cocktail area, a 35-foot bar and is handicap accessible. The Mill room accommodates up to 300 for a cocktail party and up to 200 for a social function.

The Capri

What's Old Is New Again...

    First of all, I want to thank all of the team from The Felt Factory for making the venue part of my wedding planning the easiest part. The fact that they provide so many services, the space, food, bar, set up and take down, it made the planning process for me so easy! Everyone that I talked to from beginning to end, was so helpful. Darvin was amazing in making sure I had everything I needed and what to expect the day of. My maitre d’, Megan, was amazing the day of and was available for me whenever I needed her. But honestly, I barely needed anything. They were so perfect in their process to get everything done. They followed my directions perfectly and repacked all my decorations for pickup perfectly. When it came to paying for the venue and services, they let me choose a payment plan that worked for myself and my family. They had steps throughout the process so we could plan properly. The ceremony was set up perfectly. The reception switch was seamless. There was a beautiful letter and gift in my bridal suite for me and my husband. Everyone love the hors d'oeuvres. Megan brought me and my husband a plate of them during cocktail hour while we were taking photos. The food was good and the donut wall was a hit! The drinks were great, even with our groom and bride picks. Everything was just simply…perfect! I highly recommend The Felt Factory. They have multiple rooms to choose from, at all budget levels. You won’t be disappointed with them!
