Port was an absolute dream!! The venue itself is modern and gorgeous. My guest loved being able to spend the night dancing downstairs or chatting on the couches on the rooftop! Getting ready at the venue itself made my day much less stressful! The Port staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to make your day amazing. My photos from Kollen Park (nearby) are gorgeous against the water! Holland was a perfect long weekend wedding destination and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Late night pretzels from The Knot Spot (nearby) were a hit too!!

We were honestly blown away by our wedding reception in the hearthside room in 2023. We were hoping for a low-key, pretty traditional "hall" style reception, where the emphasis would be on friends and family, family, food, and having a good time. The hearthside room was a great backdrop for that--cozy but spacious. The weather was great, and between the entryway/catering level, the main room, and the deck, our guests had a lot of options for hanging out and conversation. We had a few communication challenges due to staff turnover (their main coordinator and their chef both left in the middle of our planning), but chef Justin was great about honoring the original plan we had discussed. A couple of our guests had some pretty big food intolerances, and he made sure they still had plenty to eat. But most of all, I just cannot say enough good things about the food and the staff. Everyone was super helpful, and our guests could not stop talking about the food. There was PLENTY to go around, and Chef Justin and his staff made sure that everyone got their fill. It's a little early for a vow renewal, but we'll be recommending Cannonsburg to our friends and we'll be looking for a reason to host another big party here.

St. Cecilia Music Center is a historic wedding venue situated in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, MI. When booking this facility for your big day, there are numerous event spaces to help bring your dream wedding to life. The Dexter Ballroom features elegant hardwood floors, west-facing windows, two Steinway grand pianos and a large kitchen. The ballroom can accommodate 250 standing guests or 184 for a plated dinner. There is also the Wege Recital Hall. It has enough space for 100 standing reception or 48 for a plated dinner. The room also boasts two grand pianos, a small kitchenette, and a fireplace. More-private gatherings may be held in the Mika Music Library, which provides couples and their loved ones with a warm, inviting atmosphere. It has walls with oak paneling, parquet floors, a piano, a kitchen, and a fireplace, and it can seat up to 48 guests. In addition, couples may avail of these and the venue’s other luxurious event spaces for their wedding ceremonies.

We had the most wonderful experience at St. Cecilia's on our wedding day! From booking to the day of the wedding, Nadine was so helpful! Communication was wonderful leading up to the day. We even got a layout of our table setup to send to other vendors. They were also so accommodating when we decided to move the buffet to the lower level of the building. Choosing this venue was truly a worthwhile investment! We were originally concerned about the option of only one bar vendor. But we now know why they prioritize them! Martha's catering went above and beyond for us and the bartenders were wonderful. They clearly know the venue and have a lot of experience. So do not let the catering options deter you, clearly St. Cecilia's has them picked for a reason and you can trust your vendors! Have I mentioned that the building is gorgeous!?! The ballroom is stunning and the rooms are all so magical. It is such a beautiful wedding venue. Our guests had a wonderful time!

The team was fantastic to work with - very responsive over email and great about answering all our questions during planning. On the wedding day itself, the day-of coordinators and event staff were total pros, running everything smoothly so I could relax and enjoy myself. It has been nearly four years since my wife and I were married in the Bissell Treehouse, and there's not a week that we don't look back at our photo album, and reminiscence of our amazing experience there. We worked with Skye through all of the planning and setup, and I cannot experience how unique, amazing, and beautiful the venue is. We called it our treehouse adventure, and it was nothing short of that. The layout is excellent, it has great views of Grand Rapids, many of the bigger vendors work with the Bissell Treehouse, and overall it was a very easy process to get everything setup and squared away. If you have the opportunity to work with them, do it, it will be remembered forever, by you and all of your guests.

I had my wedding ceremony outdoors at Royal Scot Golf Course in October of 2019 and the scenery was beautiful. I also had my wedding reception indoors in Royal Scot’s North Room which is located upstairs and holds approximately 125 people. The North Room was very spacious and even included a dance floor and an outdoor balcony. All rooms at Royal Scot have full banquet staff which includes servers, bartenders, and chefs. Linens, cloth napkins, flatware, china and glassware are also included. The catering for all functions is provided by Royal Scot and they do a wonderful job. My guests were raving about the food; it was truly delicious. Royal Scot staff was extremely attentive and communicated well throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Royal Scot staff met all my expectations and so much more. Royal Scot is a wonderful venue and the event pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding New Years Eve 2021, our Rehearsal Dinner and Reception were at The Crowne Plaza Lansing West. It was fun to collaborate with Carlie and Brendan for our Rehearsal Dinner/ Guest Dinner & Reception. We had our Wedding Ceremony in Grand Ledge… which was a midway point for both sides of our families. We had booked the chapel before finding The Crowne Plaza which was only about 10-15mins away. I met with Carlie in August 2021 to start planning our Reception in December 2021 Brendan was added to the team later, he acclimated fast and it was like he was there from the beginning. They worked great as a team, the rest of the staff were great too. I couldn’t have asked for a better team honestly they were so in tuned with us. The team was very accommodating and they went above and beyond to make our day perfect in every way. When looking at other venues in the area they were very expensive, none included onsite catering and we had to find all of our own vendors. It was so refreshing to find The Crowne Plaza Lansing West. We chose the wedding package for the reception and did not have to find separate vendors everything was included except the cake which was done outside but they even made sure they had the contact info for the Bakery to confirm delivery and setup. We did not have to pay a separate room rental fee or separate fees for clean up. I remember calling another hotel and feeling like I had to convince them to do their job or engage in conversation regarding what was offered. Customer service is a gem these days and we received exceptional customer service. The hotel rooms were affordable and newly updated. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with its new renovations. The lobby is breathtaking. From my initial visit all I could think about is taking pictures in the glass elevator! We took pictures in the lobby by the beautiful Christmas tree, the glass elevator… I had dreams of those pictures after seeing the venue and the pictures were better than I dreamed. We had multiple rooms including the Empress and Presidential suites they were beautiful. I can’t think of any request they did not meet. The catering menu had many options we also had our Rehearsal Dinner at Bordeaux a full bar was offered, we had a custom menu the food and desert were delicious. We had a late night fry bar at the Reception, my mom and close friends still talk about it. The ballroom was amazing! The had smaller conference spaces we switched room sizes and setups so we viewed all of them which could truly accommodate any event. They were very responsive and I loved that Carlie would send me email recaps of our meetings which made it easy to keep track of our plans. From the very first meeting everyone was very personable, friendly and made be very happy to be a customer. Communication was never delayed, they were very responsive to email and if I ever requested a call or in person meet to do a walk through they responded promptly. The last minute odds and ends they volunteered without being asked to help in anyway. My husband wanted to have a small card game in his room after the rehearsal dinner which he mentioned when we arrived, they had already checked us in. Carlie and Brendan came through! The table was set up in his room without a further mention. My husband and I can’t recommend The Crowne Plaza Lansing West enough! If you’re having an event in the Lansing area, I truly urge you to consider The Crowne Plaza you will be glad you did it!

Bucks Run is a beautiful wedding venue! If we had to get married again, we would choose this venue without any hesitation. My husband is an avid golfer and I love the water, and this met both of our wants. The lake in the background of the ceremony is so pretty, and this lake can also be seen in the reception space. And it's a golf course so my husband was happy about that. Ha! When we were initially looking for a venue, we reached out to a few other local golf courses, but Amy was prompt in her response and I could tell from our first few initial emails that Bucks Run was going to be the place for us. The food is AMAZING (I only wish we could take leftovers). The staff was AMAZING and super kind to all of our guests. And Amy was AMAZING. She was always quick to respond, even when I wasn't expecting a quick reply. Her answers were always clear, and she made sure that we had everything we wanted for our big day. I cannot recommend this venue enough. You won't regret it!
